couldn't you have just sent it in if I'm not mistaken they don't charge much for fixings but probably since you screwed around with it yeah you'd probably need to buy a new one |

The new port costs 5.00 dollars. I'll just need to solder it on.
Club Nintendo used to let us send it in free by extending our warranty, but that's not a thing anymore. |
