Chrome OS and Raspbian are 2 which I've used. Since the hardware came with them. I've seen Steam OS. But that's pretty much it.

I use Kali for general Linux use & C & Python, I don't know, I just like it.
I've heard good things about Arch and Mint and Kali is Debian based and I like Kali.

| Linux Mint is indeed great, and so are Ubuntu and Lubuntu (for older hardware) |

"I use Kali for general Linux"
Bruh
You know Kali is a pentesting distro right? You're automatically root, which means you can screw anything up easily.
Android is certainly the most popular flavor of Linux out there. Ubuntu is Zulu for "I can't configure Debian" and has a bunch of spyware Debian would be fine if it weren't for the bloatware Arch Linux is like giving you car parts and expecting you to assemble it. You might make a finely tuned efficient machine but it's a lot of work. Fedora is weird. I don't like it. Red Hat is proprietary. Yuck.
Any other distro is basically Debian based. Crunchbang, Kali, Bodhi, Mint, Rasbian...
The verdict here is to use Windows like a normal person. If you need Linux use a virtual machine, or just SSH into whatever server or data center you're maintaining. |

Yes, I know what Kali Linux is, and I love it *because* it's pentest-oriented. But it's still fine for general use and I don't have to try to figure out how to install gcc on Windows.

| I have used Ubuntu and Mint, both seem to be the best ones for UI. |

| ^ no, it's not fine for general use. How hard is it for you to just type sudo? |

It's very annoying which is why I like Kali.

| Debian because it's probably the most stable Linux distro in existence. |

OMG I LOVE LINUX now.
Well, not just now; I've liked it ever since I learned it was free, but I've almost always used Windows.
Anything Debian and highly-rated is good. |

Welcome to the club!
linux master race!!!1111one
seriously..
Just never run sudo rm /* -R -v as root, literally removes everything, equivalent to delete C:\* |

Wish more people would make GUIs for their program though.
How is this: $ grep "robloxsux" /home/name/*.txt
Easier than this: Enter search in input Open file dialog and select directory Click button |

@DTrump
It'll probably be for a small laptop I have, something light-weight. |
