it's really at a low stage but can say simple stuff
lingojam.com/Arestian
you can translate something like "Hi! How are you today? I am very happy now, and you? Oh, I am very sad because the pencil is his, not mine."
not too hard |

What's the point?
Not only are you trying to make a new language, which is pointless because no one would use it, but you're also trying to make it overly complicated.
If you're going to make a new language, at least make it simpler than the ones we have now. |

| It is pretty simple, actually, I have had this fictional language in my mind for a while now, my friends tried to learn it because I was teaching it to them, and they found it really easy. |

@ashley
the è means that the e is pronounced at the end the ç means it makes it makes a soft "s" sound the s means it makes a strong "s" sound
all those symbols made it look complicated |

@extra
Why are you explaining the rules to me? I never said I cared to learn to speak the language.
>"the è means that the e is pronounced at the end"
That is a useless rule. You could easily adjust the language in a way not to need that rule at all.
>"the ç means it makes it makes a soft "s" sound"
That is a useless rule. You could easily adjust the language in a way not to need that rule at all. [2]
>"the s means it makes a strong "s" sound"
That is a useless rule. You could easily adjust the language in a way not to need that rule at all. [3]
You can easily implement a language without those three rules. And the fact you'd make your language take non-ASCII characters is just stupid as well. |

I don't want my language to be to close to another language
I want my language to stand out and be different
my language will use the symbols slightly differently |

| So you're purposefully adding on new rules just to make it "unique"? |

Are you stupid? I never even came close to slightly somewhat implying that, you just pulled that out of your ass.
You are making your language just a more complex version of languages we already have. You should build the language from the ground up using as little rules as possible.
When the hell did I ever suggest, even vaguely, that the language should have the same rules as English?
Freaking moron. |

Well, I have said that it is latin based on the site
I have a love for latin-based languages, so I have decided to try my own words from scratch, some being cognates, and some that are different
And that is what I want to do with my language
If you do not like the way I choose to make my language, then there is no reason to be criticizing it |

no, you've got to be the troll
Trying to bash my language for what I love it fully to be, and you trying to force me to change it. So what? It may be close to other languages, but it still has its own distinct features that make it its own. |
