Nevermind, it has an RJ11 connector instead of DIN or PS2, so that's really risky. I'd need to buy a converter, and it's not even documented at all on the internet, so I can't be 100% sure that it's even mechanical. The keycaps look amazing though :(

i thought the apple keyboard that came with my 2003 emac was mechanical since it made loud clicking noises when typing
then i took a key off
and it had a rubber dome in this little small tube

Some rubber domes are clicky because of their design (old Dell QuietKeys, most KeyTronics) but there will never be a rubber dome board that beats most mechanical keyswitches. The only exception to that would be Cherry MY, I'd rather have a rubber dome keyboard over those because they are terrible in every single way, shape and form. They feel mushy, extremely stiff, rough.. eugh. Worst keyboard I've ever typed on.
