I made a game where there's a house, and in the basement, there's a lightbulb. The problem is the light from the lightbulb goes through the ceiling and lights the floor above too.
I'm sure many others experience the same problem. That's why I think light shouldn't go through blocks that are opaque.
I know I can make the floor 4 studs thick, but that wouldn't look as nice. ROBLOX please. Patch this. |

If you haven't, make sure 'Shadows' is enabled in the light's properties. It's not perfect, but it's certainly better.
Anyways, I still support this. It shouldn't even be 4x4 blocks that light can't get through/causes the darkest shadow, it should be something like 0.1 x 0.1. It's the transparency that determines the intensity of the shadow. |

...And so it left, entirely forgetting it's previous purpose. http://www.roblox.com/Do-you-know-what-time-it-is-item?id=229570555 |

This is a great idea :D
Maybe this could influence Roblox staff to consider working more one the problems in-game than the actual site itself. I always did want sharper shadows, kinda like in old times where you would have a accurate shadow following your character...
This is also a great idea because then you can make a perfectly dark room without scaling something out too far. SUPPORT!!! |
