Back when there was Windows XP and Windows Vista, I used to play ROBLOX (on my first account obewand) and a crapton of online flash games. There weren't a lot of internet trolls, 4chan wasn't mainstream. There weren't all these stupid internet trends like "Twerking" or a bunch of stupid challenges that teenagers do. Like that stupid one where kids would run away from home and hide away in the woods for 72 hours. Back when rick roll was funny. Back when ROBLOX had a sense of humor, back when the rest of the internet had a little more of a sense of humor. Back in those times I could actually call Club Penguin GOOD. But those times are unfortunately over. I cling to the past now. Considering we are stuck with challenges and stupid trends. You used to be able to go into a chat room without some edgy moron and some crazy guy giving you death threats, you wouldn't really be worried about some freak peeking in on your webcam. The internet was a safer, funner place and now it's golden age has ended.

In 2009 ROBLOX my first game was the default house with colored spawns and flags everywhere with the house looking like a mess.

I do agree with you about the challenges people are doing now-a-days to get views and things like that. But, in all seriousness, people are literally setting themselves on fire to amuse people on the internet, and it's so ridiculous.

and don't forget the bland "futuristic" eye burning web themes that seem to ignore the fact that desktop users don't like scrolling ten thousand times to get to content

I agree with you so much. Sad thing is, I joined in 2011, right in the beginning of where things went downhill on Roblox. I really wish that I was here earlier...

2011 wasn't that bad, neither was 2012, in fact 2012 was actually an okay year. Late 2013 was the downfall and 2014 was the coffin and 2015 is the nailing.
