I have been contemplating the traditionalist nature of the 'Meme'. Upon first analysis, it appears to be a symptom of the Kali Yuga, and of a post-traditionalist society. However, upon further investigation one can find that the 'epic meme' has its roots in the Thulean mindset. I shall begin with a brief epigraph that is relevant to our study: "New memes have arrived!" - Anon Memes are the elixir of the true gentleman, and embody the high wit of the 19th century man. Post-Ironic memes in particular, have their roots in the satirical polemics of Carlyle, and even further back to the commentaries of Plato. Egads, we may come to see memery as the poison of our age, but in reality it is a clandestine neo-reactionary counter-revolution against the conformist humour of the jesters known as 'stand up comedians', in particular the cuckolded Hebrew jests of Louis C.K, famous for his legendary interracial breeding grounds. The transcendent man who embraces the meme reaches a higher plane of existence - his understanding of the universe is enhanced by post-irony. Forsooth, the ideal super ubermensch embodied in the memes of 'Pepe the Frog' and 'Wojak' urges us to abandon the fleeting desires of this world, and strive for the destruction of the degenerate 'alpha male' that is Chad Thundercock; a tool of the Judeo-Masonic usury conspiracy with his soulless materialism. We must, however, be wary, for memes are easily subverted by the forces of Freemasonry and Mystery Babylon - since the year twenty-hundred-and-fourteen we have witnessed the death of 'Pepe', with the masses of plebeian consumerists replacing their petty currencies with 'Rare Pepes'. This is indeed a tragedy that is on par with 1789. The advent of the 'Chicken Tendies' meme was clearly the Thermidorian Reaction, or the Insurrection in the Vendée if you will, to this abomination. In conclusion, the traditionalist gentleman must move beyond Byron's 'Cultured Thug', and embrace a higher ideal; he must become the Living Meme. |
