Really the only truth that can be known by any individual is whatever they are currently experiencing. There is relative truth and absolute truth. Absolute truth can only be known by the Absolute. The Absolute is the totality of what IS which again is not generally known by individuals. So whatever you are experiencing in the moment is true for YOU.
Right now what is true is that you have a lot of thoughts, and fears and feelings of confusion. That is true. You also feel negativity, that is true. The mind wants to have certainty. It wants to know exactly what will happen or at least feel pretty sure that it knows what will happen. It can't and it hates that. All that you can know is what is happening right now. You can be aware that your thoughts are creating a lot of fear and confusion for you and you can allow the thoughts and allow the feelings without "following" them with your awareness.
When you have the thought "is the petrol going to give me cancer or not" you can "observe" the thought and allow it to pass or you can immerse your focus into the thought and think "I must know, let me read this or that or ask this doctor or that doctor etc". The choice is about where to put your conscious awareness NOW. No newspaper article, nor doctor nor anyone else can say what is going to happen to you. That is only known by the Absolute. But by being present in this moment and allowing you can begin to get some relief from the incessant desire of the mind to "know".

most of what i say is not actually perceived by me and then told to you, it is taken from scientific studies which have been thoroughly peer reviewed. it has been proven correct - MATHEMATICALLY. mathematics are "the absolute." |
