No, it's terrible. Get a reliable laptop with good construction.

ibuypower is good, but if you're really looking for top of the line gaming PC, Alienware bests all.

"@vine why" iBUYPOWER / CyberPowerPC / Alienware have terrible cooling and they are ripoffs, and they have very flimsy construction. I've heard some good things about ORIGIN laptops.

@Vine. No, I'm not. o3o You can have your alienware PC customized for you, or build it yourself with a wider range of parts. The best amount of RAM I've seen on an ibuypower PC is 8GB. Just an example. Alienware is known for cramming more power than you really need into a gaming PC, hence top of the line. Just one laptop made by them, and overpowered is $2,000 USD. In lame man's terms, it's good for the kids who adore the "bigger is better" mindset. However useless it is.

But I'd highly recommend ASUS for a laptop. They're my go-to brand.

@Ghost 1. Alienware is terrible at cooling 2. RAM doesn't even matter when it comes to gaming when you have over 8GB, 8GB is plenty enough nowadays

Origin is very overpriced though. As I said, you might want to look at ASUS's line of laptops. They're probably the most reliable laptop brand set aside Lenovo.

@Vine, Both of those I already know. I'm looking at it from the perspective of most spec boasting kids who think they need all of that. A low grade macbook air at 4GB of ram, i5 Dual Core at 1.8 Ghz (Turbo to 2.2 GHz) is sufficient enough to handle a game called EVE well enough. EVE, for those who don't know, is a pay to play MMO, and perhaps the largest one existing. There is only 1 server, and it's a massive universe that literally has seemingly no end. Planets to land on, ships, and war in space.

Except the MacBook won't be overheating and breaking in a short amount of time, now will it?

@Vine. It's all the same hardware. Intel, and DDR3 ram. There is no difference in Apple tech except for OS. The same heat, and strain would happen to a similar grade PC, as the mac.
