Lua made sense back in 2007 when games were small and simple.But now that games are becoming bigger and more complex a small lightweight language like Lua isn't viable anymore. We need C++

your Lua code compiles automatically (to bytecode)

Roblox should replace Lua with common lisp

Anyway, replacing Lua with C++ is like replacing a Tesla with a Model T

If anything, replace it with Python

What about the games that are already made with lua? If anything, instead of replacing LUA, there should be an option to choose between languages.

well lua is not just compiled but also interpreted

I agree we need C++. Although, I feel we should give Players the option of what program they use. So players who already have games wont break.

Even triple AAA games tend to use Lua, C#, and C++
