I'd agree, video games are too freeform for me to be invested much in the PC.
Only railroading games could achieve this, and games are about the opposite of railroading.

"However, with vidya gaems if there's a glitch or your character doesn't respond the way you wanted it too, it automatically takes me out of the experience."
I once had a glitch, where I got thrown by an Asari commando in Mass Effect 1. Shepard got stuck under the rail, then the ragdoll limbs began to expand.
It was really odd. |

Again,
you can't really feel sympathy for a guy who murders hundreds of people and says its for the greater good,
even if it is for the "greater good"
you see in tv shows and movies the thing is, not 90% of the show or movie is just shooting people.

that would be implying 90% of games are about shooting people fd
which isn't true and is a really stupid thing to say.

And TBF, silent protagonists don't make you more connected to the characters, or make you feel like they represent you.
Noble Six has to be my favorite character in Reach, despite being voiced, althrough, it's only a few lines in the game. But the armour customization makes you feel as if they ARE your own character. |

@Dishonored Wasn't implying that
it would be disregarding the Pre-6th gen era of gaming and there are a lot of indie games that aren't about that top that off with games like Dishonored and deus ex that offer alternatives to murder
But I should have mentioned the game that was on my mind when I posted that if you haven't guessed, it's cod
But this isn't to say that Dishonored and deus ex don't have the same problem though
I don't get this "Corvo" guy or Adam je- actually no, he's just as much as a piece of crap as me so..
But thief, dishonored's spiritual predecessor doesn't have that problem #garretmasterrace
