Battlefield 1942 was the first Battlefield.

I know that was the first battlefield, but look: you know one of those google things that pops up when you answer an obvius question? it said 1942. i never clicked a link or anything

Also, a quick note for OP:
The "Obvious question Google answers" aren't made by Google, Google only pulls the information that is probably going to answer your question from a website like Wikipedia or whatever else |
