For the past 3 weeks I have been unable to join games. My issue is something to do with my launcher. When I launch it from the desktop, my browser comes up with ROBLOX fine. Whenever I click a play button, the external window (I use chrome) comes up, says starting roblox, then disappears after 10-15 seconds. If ANYONE can help me solve this problem, I will be very grateful.
Whenever I start studio, I get this: 22:37:28.985 - FileSystem unable to create C, Access is denied 22:37:28.985 - httpGet http://www.roblox.com/game/GetCurrentUser.ashx failed. Trying again. Error: FileSystem unable to create C, Access is denied. Elapsed time: 0.00100002
I also cannot load assets such as models into games, nor can I open games with them.
Things I have tried: Reinstall Reinstall with Administrator permissions Uninstall, restart, install with admin permissions. Reinstall chrome Reset internet settings Disabling firewall Disabling anti-virus Disabling both firewall and anti-virus at the same time Restarting my computer Some driver reset thing roblox suggested Launching from Internet Explorer And probably some more things
It does work on other users, just not mine.
My PC Specs: 8 GB DDR3 RAM Intel Core i3-2120 @ 3.3 GHz 2 TB SATA Hard Drive NVIDEA GeForce GT 610 (Yes I know, not a great graphics card, getting a new one if I can fix this problem) Windows 7 Home Premium |

Try either resetting your computer or defragging your hard drive. I would have to look at it first hand to give you any other advice. Backing up your files and resetting your PC would be the best fix I think

1) Tried that.
2) I'm not going that overboard. Really if it was that bad I would just make a new profile and send all my stuff to said profile. |

| It's something with windows, they made it to where it is optimized for Windows 10, try upgrading and it should work then. |

You did everything I was going to tell you to do, I suggest contacting ROBLOX through email and tell them this. And whoever said something about Graphics Card being outdated that's possible.
Good luck man. :) |

Start Menu -> search "cmd" -> Right click "command prompt" and select "Run as Administrator" (provided you can) -> and put in the following line:
You're going to need to know where your Roblox is installed, I will assume on your C: drive in Appdata\Local for you, so the line in CMD will be (you need to replace "YourUserName" with what your User is called on your computer.
ERASE C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Local\Roblox /S
Now it will prompt you to hit Y/N, always hit Y. The reason behind such a thorough uninstall is because Roblox likes to keep a few .dlls running no matter what. Once this is all done, go to Roblox.com/download and set it all up again. This is about as fresh as your install can get, for added freshness reboot your computer.
Or try doing dis :3 If u can b asked 1. Click the 'Start menu' 2. Type in the search bar 'cmd' 3. Right click on cmd and select 'Run as administrator' 4. In the command prompt, type in 'hdwwiz.exe' 5. A window 'Welcome to the Add Hardware Wizard' will open, click 'Next' 6. Select 'Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced) 7. Scroll down and select 'Network adapters' and click 'Next' 8. Under 'Manufacturer' select 'Microsoft' 9. Under 'Network Adapter' scroll down and select 'Microsoft Loopback Adapter' 10. Click 'Next' and again click 'Next' 11. Try running the ROBLOX player or RobloxPlayerLauncher.exe from the 'Start menu'

"It's something with windows, they made it to where it is optimized for Windows 10, try upgrading and it should work then."
No, it works on another user, thus it can work on this computer.
"You don't have enough space"
I have 2 Terabytes of SATA harddrive, which is one of the largest hard drives common in commercial computers. Trust me, I have enough space.
"Do a fresh install" - Thanks, i'll try that.
"Microsoft Loop Back" - ROBLOX suggested this
"Email ROBLOX" - I have been going back and forth with them. Yesterday they told me they didn't know what to do, and to post on here. |

drives with more than 1TB of space use 4096MB blocks rather than the more traditional 512MB blocks, you might have a bad install of windows so try installing it using UEFI boot
by the way my home NAS with two HD bays already has eight times more storage than your PC so don't brag about how it's the "largest commercial computer drive"

As I said before, I'm not going to go so far as to install a new windows version or anything. If I really want to, i'll make a new user and it will be fine. I just don't want to move all my things from user to user.
Also, I never said my computer had the largest hard drive. I said it's one of the largest commercially standard ones. I have never seen a pre-built computer in a store with more than a TB hard drive. Obviously you can upgrade it. |

what the hell are you talking about, commercial usage computers can be built by hand at home in less than half an hour
if you're so hell-bent on big HD space you might want to take a look at this link http://cdn.pcpartpicker.com/static/forever/images/product/1e3f1ad18c2056519282bf3ce541f459.1600.jpg

"Largest commercially available hard drive"
I mean, there are 8tb ones for about 250$, then you can jump up to 10.6tb for about $116,500. Which is still considered "commercially available".
Samsung recently came out with a 16tb SSD. |

About to get a bit off topic, but cant you beleive how amazing technology is now?
I mean, when i was a kid, our home PC had 6gb of storage, and we were told all the time that "you will never that much storage for anything!" it was like a lifetimes worth of pictures back then.
But now i have more than 20 times that much storage on my phone, i have individual .dwg files that are larger than that. I could put that entire 1998 MicronPC's storage into my current PC 1300 times, and still have room left over. |
