| Now it won't work. Think I screwed up somewhere. Can anybody give me reasonable advice (Excluding Repairing it through Microsoft)? |

right, i got you.
you actually do need to go to best buy, or even any local electronics store that sells xbox 360s
then trade it in for a mega-PC

Actually, I think trying to repair your xbox voids your warranty, so RIP you.
But then again...why not ascend to the masterrace?

| I have a 2500$ Computer, but it honestly gets pretty boring.. I had to take apart my 360 to clean it, so I could trade it in :/ |

| Alright. I have had this problem in the past. The problem is that there will still be moisture in your xbox, even though it may not be removable by hand, so the best option for removing it is to insert something onto it to absorb the moisture. I recommend lightly rubbing butter onto the SIDES of the box, not on top or bottom. Then let it sit for 15 minutes. I'll give you further instructions once I'm sure your xbox no longer has moisture in it. |

If you have a 2.5k rig and you get bored you're doing something wrong |

just put it back together then take it to a service shop and say this exactly
"i was playing battlefield when suddenly this red ring came on my xbox, i tried looking inside to clear the dust to see if that was the problem but when i tied booting it up, instead of the red ring, nothing showed up" |

Kong should have just sold it. You probably aren't going to make over 50 bucks if anything..
