ROBLOX Never listens to its consumer base. Ever.
They only listen to the Popular Side of the gaming market
AKA - The Casual Gamers
AKA - The 6-year olds paying for the game with an IQ of 0.
They are the only reason ROBLOX isn't bankrupt right now.

It's complete bullcrap and I definitely feel that update was utterly CRAP.
The amount of words expressed to this is unsubstantial to the new updates they give to the website. |

ROBLOX doesn't care about customer satisfaction whatsoever because they're not going to listen to people who have no technology degrees or experience in companies. ROBLOX has to change whether you like it or not, we're not going to stick to the old profile for the rest of our lives, it has to eventually change. Remember the BC update? Yeah, we all got used to that. So now you're going to have to get used to this.

Both of those 100% irrelevant. You're talking to the 2nd CEO of an industrial company here. I work full-time and know exactly how these things work.
The overall customer satisfaction rate in practically EVERY business is imperative.
In ROBLOX's case, they're belittling and undermining the majority of users considering the site's targeted/median age is fairly young and usually incoherence is soaring.
The BC update was nothing like this. If you're going to use an example, at least use one that's relative to some degree.
ROBLOX has made MANY big update, but never any update THIS dramatic.
And I've NEVER seen ROBLOX Support make smart-alecky retorts to paying customers like I did on that tweet. None-the-less, some people aren't necessarily going to comprehend the idea of customer satisfaction or PROPER marketing. It just won'r resonate well.
This whole 'debate', have you, is really slippery.
I've got nothing else to say as I've covered practically everything. Being a business-man myself I know damn well how these things are supposed to work and I know for a fact that if the customer isn't satisfied, profit starts to drop.

Yeah, they're not going to stay with the old, disgusting, outdated features. They're going to update whether you like it or not (I repeat), they're not going to listen to this damn community 24/7.

The only two updates that are even SEEMINGLY somewhat relative would MAYBE be the KO/WO update (which again was a TERRIBLE update because it has allowed trolls to do as they please given that before this update people were somewhat hesitant to act as troglodytes considering they would rack up WO's)...
And I suppose the new Studio format (where they removed the paint-bucket feature and instead replaced it with actually having to select the bricks, DIRECTLY making it harder to paint things).
You seem like a new-age elitist millennial, if I were to be completely honest and fair with you (with no offense at all). You've got to remember that ROBLOX was created years before you joined the community and there have never been any issues with the profile format.
Old isn't "disgusting". What makes an 'update' "disgusting" is it's failure to maintain compatibility and usefulness, especially when it has a comparison or something to live up to. Or if it fails to prove BETTER than it's predecessor.

This update actually does, it separates what a profile ACTUALLY is from creating.

This 'update' definitely fails to meet the expectations given that it's predecessor was the original profile format which had landscape thumbnail images that users could do so with as they pleased and even profit off of making other users images.
It has ruined the whole 'about me'/'blurb' section, where now it only shows what, three lines I believe? Yeah, that's COMPLETELY ridiculous. I like to write. I shouldn't be limited to only THREE LINES of visibility. I have quite a bit to put in my 'about me'.
Oh you wanted a quick and efficient way to look through this user's groups? Hahaha dream on! This new format will make it ten times harder by having you click your way through each individual group, ALSO defeating the purpose of having a clan considering clans and primary groups were supposed to (in my case and my HR's cases) make it easier to get to certain groups. The Sinister Conversion served as my primary so I could simply click on the 'Groups' tab and get to them as my clan was the Consortium of Wrath, that way I could simply click on the group icon from beneath my avatar on my profile.
And last but not least; ROBLOX is NOT A FASHION SHOW! I's purpose is to give players an advantageous look into the 3D world and even architecturally incline it's inhabitants! ROBLOX's old motto was "If you can imagine it, you can build it" but now it seems as though the only thing ROBLOX is concerned about is what people are WEARING!
Look, I think we're going to have to agree to disagree here. I don't hold you in negative regards, but I'm an older fellow and I've been on ROBLOX for a very long time. These changes just do not serve any more efficient that their predecessors.

Thumbnail makers don't like it, veterans don't like it, in fact, so far you and maybe five others are the only ones that have come out to say they like it.
In all reality you just remind me a LOT of my twin brother. Arguing for the mere sake of arguing. Even given a really good statement you want to come back at it.
There's no argument to be had, here. The updates aren't for the overall betterment of the community. They benefit the unimportant few as opposed to the active/paying many.

REMEMBER: you're talking to the 2nd CEO of an industrial company. I know how business works. If the customer isn't satisfied, you lose profit and your competition will get what you've lost. Words spreads around and inadvertently it will do a lot of damage.
Do you know the first thing about business and how it works? I mean ACTUAL knowledge? Real-world knowledge?
