This is a re-post from a thread made seven months ago by yours truly. At first I intended it to be a role-play on its own but eventually I decided to make it an I.S.R.P (Interactive Story Role Play); but with the same system used in the Kingdoms™ series [published and established by Vamking12] in that it's Multiverse Interactive Story Role Play where all lands are connected, but you're still independent in the sense that people aren't with you. It's somewhat hard to explain.
{-Note-}: If you want to do a co-op with 2+ players (maximum 4) in your kingdom, send me a PM and then I'll respond with a verification code in which you must PM to all of your fellow players and after that, they must send me the verification code. It's complicated but it's an extra assurance that you want to go through with this.
Welcome to Anathor, a land shrouded in seas and full of thieves.
You have been sponsored by the Kingdom of Luchia ruled by Lord Galve on a distant continent. He bestowed upon your forty-five thousand silver dimes to grow your kingdom. Though secretly, Lord Galve, has sponsored other nobles to expand and conquer the lands in the name of the Kingdom. Lord Galve also granted you five spear-men, three archers, and four swordsmen. Also a handful of peasants to work the farms, work in the mines, and cook for the nobility. Also cows, chickens, sheep, pigs, and horses.
Your objective? Well to expand and prosper of course!
You must establish a trading empire, forge allies, keep your faith true, and crush all enemies that stand in your way.

Rules: 1. You can only have one character at a time. 2. You can only have one kingdom at a time. 3. You cannot get more money after you've spent it all unless you have a mine or are able-bodied to go raiding. 4. You cannot automatically know where other kingdoms are unless they've settled on found ground, which is unlikely. 5. You are not allowed to god-mod. 6. You are not allowed to meta-game. 7. If you are speaking out of character, type your body in parenthesis. 8. You have taxes to the empire, but you also collect taxes from your colony. 9. If you slaughter all of your population, you will forfeit your kingdom and have to start a new one unless you can do it secretly. 10. You cannot achieve "futuristic" technology like an iPhone. 11. If you only have one settlement and your kingdom puts a coup into action, they will be classified as "Rebels" and your kingdom is now available to be taken by anyone and you have to create a new kingdom with a penalty. 12. Do not confuse your kingdom with settlements. You can have multiple settlements within your kingdom's rule. 13. No hate speech against other players. 14. Keep your relationship to a minimum. If you do have a child, just announce that your lady is expecting a child, do NOT go into detail. 15. If you've read so far, spell chicken backwards in the Other section. 16. Ignore the rule above this one. 17. Ignore the rule above this one. 18. You cannot create your own technology without an administrator's word of approval or my word of approval. 19. If you claim that you did something obviously wrong is not in the rules, you immediately forfeit your entire kingdom and your character. 20. If your character dies and you do not have a son, your kingdom will crumble. If you DO have a son, you can play as him and continue to rule your kingdom.
Available Technology:
• Believe it or not; doughnuts. Doughnuts were invented in 1847 supposedly by Hanson Gregory. I only include this because it makes me hungry and I want the food availability to be a little more diverse time-wise. • Guns. And no, I don't mean you're going to have a M16 and a grenade launcher. I mean you'll have rifles... just not assault rifles. Flintlock pistols and rifles. • Automated mining system. A windmill with steel pikes moves vertically and can be adjusted via a pulley system. It's rotated by a livestock generator. • Printing System. Written pages can be replicated onto stone tablets and then processed onto pages to create more copies. The creation of the actual book is still hand-done. • Cannons. Cannons are issued on boats, towers, castle walls, and portable for invasions.
Also, you can create your own religions but you'll have to PM me your religion name and I'll shoot a Religion Sheet back at you. When you fill it out, I'll look through it and approve or deny it. I will also publicly announce the coming of a new religion out of character. |

Name: Alaric 'the Black Wind'
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Biography: Alaric, a child of a far northern province, was originally the son of a Duke. The advance of the Kingdom to the south crushed his homeland and annexed the region, leaving him the last child of the House of Aldren. He was taken in by the King, made a prominent warrior in his court, and given training in the art of nobility. He eventually married in to the royal family, his wife (the King's niece Matilda d'Angouleme) giving him an even greater name to tout at the tables. Experienced with war and battle strategy, Alaric grew fond of combat and eventually was credited with conquering the independent County of Renais with only five hundred men.
But for all his achievements, Alaric was never given a fief of his own. None of the lands he ventured into were ever granted to him- as it turned out, there was a purpose for this. King Galve, by the Grace of God the King of Luchia, Count of Renais, and Duke of Temeria, had long ago discovered this far-off continent, and sought out the right man to colonize it. So he sent the young Northman, who by his achievements earned the sobriquet of 'Black Wind' for his personal prowess in combat but never showed any political finesse, to establish a colony of his own people and create from this a new land of his kin.

Personality: Alaric is rather the typical soldier and general. Among nobles, he is considered rude and offputting, but with his own men and any under his command he displays a remarkable talent with words and inspiration. In this way he was the perfect man for a Kingdom in an uninhabited land- he commands absolute loyalty from his subordinates, but is very poor at making friends with equals.
Appearance: As a northman, Alaric is a little on the short side, with broad shoulders and a burning crimson shade to his long hair and beard. His eyes are a crystalline blue and his skin is pale, from his feet to his lips and nips.
He is exceptionally physically gifted, with a grand set of muscles to complete his short frame.

Character Sheet: Name: Valin FitzCrismspaed Age: 30 Gender: Male Biography: The Crimspaed family, a small family of counts that have stretched back to the for Kings of Luchia and even beyond, was were Valin hailed from. Running along a good stretch of land bisected by two major rivers and many creeks, Valin took his time to truly admire nature. A poet and a true gentlemen, he excelled at the skills of the gentry and even beyond, with a knack for managing his own estate. And so set out with his own name and bid farewell to his home for a last time.
Eventually, he headed out as he was only the 4th son of the family and wouldn't inherit much, he made his way to the King's court. From there, his gentlemen manners and a surprising skill of flattering, Valin was selected to help form a new settlement in a far off land. A gentlemen and administrator in a far off land, he might not have the right experience to survive. Family Name: House FitzCrimspaed
Personality: A flatterer and a gentlemen of the highest level, Valin has no trouble earning friends or keeping the peace with his words. But he can't bring himself to cruelty, and his pleasing nature often causes anything to run up extra expenses.
Appearance: Tall but not imposing with slender limbs, groomed blond hair and a short braided beard with brown eyes. His skin is well tanned all around, and almost always he wears outfits that befit any respectable noble.

Land formation created on: Right on the sea, overlooking a wide bay that perfectly suits a good harbor. Most of the land around it is grasslands with a river coming in from the west. Woods are on the very edge of it.

Matuk born in lightning! Matuk's destiny written in blood on sand! Matuk crush! Matuk destroy!
Matuk was born in the Orcish swamps, among orcs, goblins, and trolls. He bore his spear and wooden shield and joined the rest of the Orc's journey towards taking out the wood elves. The battle was long and hard, until Matuk was sent off to some distant land to kill elves and make glory there. He dreams to be killed in battle by an Elfish king and have his head put on a wall, like how they put moose heads on the wall. But with an Orc head.
