I feel like the league is REALLY going to take off, MLS 4.0 perhaps?
Anybody else feel this way? Predictions for the league's future? |

@Obby
Realistically, I don't see Messi ever signing with the MLS, no matter how much the league improves in the next 5 years. He's too classy of a player to take the "retirement money" and spend his remaining days in the US. He wants to play at the highest level and if there ever were to be another one-club man, "Messy" would be that person. |

I'm sure Canada gets a couple more teams maybe add Puerto Rico? maybe a Mexican club? I think mls should focus on becoming a Continental league |

How about Canada makes their own league and the MLS is America only? :D |

@Harper
I would like to see Canada getting some more teams, my only worry is that Canada is trying to start their own fully-domestic league, and that'll take some interest away from MLS (not by too much, though). Also, there are a lot more interesting markets in the U.S. right now like Miami, San Antonio, Atlanta, Sacramento, etc.
As for Mexico, I don't think that'll work, we hate Mexico and they have their Liga MX. It'd be nice to grow as a league solely from the United States-Canada bond. Other countries I don't see working out, travel would be awful

personally a Canadian domestic league would be a bad idea I don't think it'd attract much if any international talent but if Canada remains with the MLS our teams will be in a respectable league |

| Canada should start their own league. It would open up the possibilities for more markets like Austin, San Antonio, Sacramento, Charlotte, St. Louis, and Phoenix. |

rofl why do you people get so excited about money hungry over the hill players coming to join your league (BAR GIOVINCO, HE WAS JUST MONEY HUNGRY).
if you ever want to be treated more seriously instead of a joke, sign messi or cr7 in their prime, not when they're looking for a retirement fund. |

Pretty sure any reasonable fan knows and supports this, stop assuming that family-of-4 tourist represents the entire league

1. I'm not talking about the past 2. I'm not quite sure why you took my post 100% literally, of course there will be many more one-club men, even if they are a dying breed 3. My main point still stands |
