I have just noticed that ROBLOX has updated the chat font in games. I'm all for ROBLOX updating stuff, but this new font is just blurry and hard to read. I wear reading glasses when reading books, but I've never had to wear them while on the computer. I'm afraid I may have to start wearing them when I use the computer. This is a huge inconvenience for me. I say ROBLOX either changes them back or picks a font that isn't so hard for me and other far sighted people to read.

I'm sure they're going to change it back. I really doubt they meant it to look like that. All they did was bold the font without making it bigger. They'll probably either undo the update or make the font readable. Bolded font was a good idea but was executed poorly.

Also constant wearing of glasses can actually train your eyes to fix themselves so I would recommend wearing them whether you like/need them or not.

sorry, but as someone who goes to the eye doctor regularly, that's false. the more you wear your glasses the more your eyes rely on them. wearing them more than i need to would make my eyes more dependent, not less.

That's 100% false. Sorry. Your eyes don't become dependent that's like saying a crutch makes your leg work less. Your eyes correct themselves the longer you wear your glasses because your eyes are learning how to actually work.

Try this that I've done. Wear your glasses constantly for a month, then for 1 week stop wearing them. The first day or so will feel as if you can't see (as if they've gotten worse) but your eyes will then try to simulate the perception of your glasses. Over all correcting them. Your glasses will never make your eyes perfect again but they will improve from how they were.

well, it turns out we were both false! I did some research, here's a quote:
"The eyeglasses worn to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, or presbyopia will not weaken the eyes any more than they will permanently "cure" these kinds of vision problems. Glasses are simply external optical aids that provide vision to people with blurred vision caused by refractive errors."

As I've previously stated in P.M. your brain tries to replicate the act of wearing glasses. The occipital lobe is damaged and that's why you start to lose clear vision but wearing glasses makes it think it's fixed. When you take off the glasses then the occipital lobe tries to replicate the previous vision and eventually you will see a slight change. Whether it's a big impact or a small one, it will improve. Though not cure, I thought I should clarify since you mistook what I said the first time.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. Glasses can't cure eyesight permanently. Once you have evidence of such, I'll believe you, but all you're doing is posting wild theories. You have no evidence. I have evidence of my new opinion. Here's is a quote from an article by the BBC that states a study done in 2011. "Some argue that there’s still not enough evidence to come to any firm conclusions. But a Cochrane review from 2011 of studies of interventions in children with myopia concluded that the limited evidence available suggests it is better to give children the correct glasses, rather than deliberately trying to under-prescribe. There’s no suggestion that wearing the correct glasses will make their eyesight worse than not wearing them at all. In fact the longest-ever study of the progression of myopia, which has just published its 23-year findings suggests the contrary. Back in 1983 a group of children in Finland with myopia were randomised to various conditions, including reading without spectacles. Their myopia progressed a little faster than those who wore their glasses continuously. After the initial three years of the study, they were all advised to wear glasses all the time. Twenty years on, there was no difference between the groups." - Claudio Hammond 2014
Once you show me evidence (a recent study, scientific evidence, a quote from an eye doctor) I will believe you. Until then you're just an imbecile spitting nonsense.

Hi, sorry that I can't give you evidence seeing that I don't read 4 google articles on the internet and take it as law, I read something a little better it's called a book. I'm not too sure you've heard of one.

That's a quote from your own article, as you can see from your own article your brain does have the ability to adapt your eyes. If you have accurate prescribed glasses, yes your brain will have your eyes adapt. Also I wouldn't trust an article that misspelled randomized. |

Sorry that I don't have a google article to skim read then copy and paste to prove myself. I'm just using legitimate facts on how the occipital lobe works.

It seems as though you have the reading comprehension level of a turtle; "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. Glasses can't cure eyesight permanently." Please try to keep up, I didn't say cure. Good god lady. I said correct or fix.

The term weaboo derives from "wanna-be Japanese" it's used as a derogatory term for someone who is obsessed with the Japanese culture. Often linked with people who use Japanese vocabulary in their conversations. Usually using them incorrectly. Being a fan of Japanese animation and renaming my ROBLOXian after a character doesn't make me a weaboo.

And though I don't believe intelligence can be accurately quantified I do have an I.Q. that can range from 138 to 153 with an average I.Q. of 147, which is considered extremely gifted; in fact if I'm doing my math properly only 1/1,125 have an I.Q. that high.
