http://blog.roblox.com/2015/08/earn-robux-through-referrals-with-the-roblox-affiliate-program/
This feature has existed for more than several months, and has been advertised on the blog before. Let's be real here: nobody gives a crap about this feature.
1. Posting a link to this website on other forums is considered spamming. How would YOU (mods and admins) like it if someone from World of Warcraft posted a referral link on ATR? You would probably delete the forum post since it's an offsite link, irrelevant, and is considered spam, right?
2. People laugh at ROBLOX from what they've seen. And honestly, I don't blame them for laughing at ROBLOX. Here on ROBLOX, we only get around 1 or 2 new, original, and high quality games on the front page every month. 99% of the front page is either copied or extremely low quality crap, or a legitimate game that has been on the front page too long and has grown stale and boring for most players.
By asking us to post about ROBLOX, you're basically getting 11 year olds getting flamed on other online forum websites.
3. You don't get any money unless the new player purchases R$ (very very unlikely). Assuming that a new player decides to try out ROBLOX from the referral link, unless they are under 11 years old, they are EXTREMELY likely to get bored of the front page games in a few days, perhaps even hours. It's pretty obvious that ROBLOX doesn't have an effective way to surface the most high quality games on the front page.
Hey, remember when TheDiamondMinecart decided to try out ROBLOX? He played the first front page game that caught his eye, which was a game where you sit on a pizza and slide into the mouth of a giant noob (experienced players label the game as low quality and uninteresting). Watching through the video, it's easy to see that he was making funny comments and was desperately trying to enjoy the game to please the fans that wanted him to play ROBLOX.
There have been multiple famous youtubers that tried out ROBLOX just like TheDiamondMinecart, but all of them quit after their first or second episode. Older and smarter people on online forums will also be able to see how low quality the games are, like the youtubers that I mentioned, and will quit quickly as well.
Unless you put the referral link on a Barbie discussion website where children under the age of 11 would thrive in (those don't exist), nobody will be interested in ROBLOX enough to buy R$. |

| Famous youtubers that have tried out ROBLOX clearly show that 99% of people above the age of 11 will easily realize how low quality the front page games of ROBLOX are. This also explains why you don't see many players above the age of 13 on ROBLOX. The older players that you do see on ROBLOX have been on the website for years, and have grown attached. |

| I used famous youtubers as an example to prove my point that ROBLOX isn't interesting enough for older gamers, so asking us to post referral links on other forum websites packed with older gamers is pointless and leads nowhere. |

Well it's not really interesting to see someone just play this game and become food and make pizza. It's all about those amazing moments like 5 killstreak or some legitimate funny gameplay
Aw now ya don't look like a happy camper. |

| @BaconParadox: The thing is, ROBLOX lacks "amazing moments like 5 kill streak or some legitimate funny gameplay". Most front page games are just bland and generic tycoons and obbies (I know other genres exist, but this sums up the front page in the long run). There are a few games that achieve what you described, but most hardcore gamers and internet people aren't interested in those as much as younger players. |

Basically, Roblox games don't have practical replayability consisting of uniqueness. Roblox games are basically played to be enjoyed, but not for video making purposes of entertainment

I spent 8,200 Robux on limited a that I regret buying. This makes me feel like quitting.
This can also be used as an example for someone who gets referred that actually buys Builders Club and Robux |
