Its your Characters Model in workspace
print(player.Character.Name)
>Darkggod0
It has all your body parts, hats, etc inside
It's just an easy way to assess it through Player.

| jon, honey, you've been asking too many simple questions. this forum is not made for that, i suggest you go to the wiki and read the abosolute beginners guide to scripting or watch robloxs hour of code videos. |

| judging from your past few threads you are indeed a beginner, but in denial. its a stage, dont worry. we all think we're pro scripters after we learn how to print and such but its a phase. its better to accept it now, that way youll progress faster! |

No no I'm really not a beginner. I'm just unaware of the little things. My problem is I focus on the things I need for most scripting, and I forget the little parts, such as ends etc

Depends on what you're doing.
If it's with a tool, put a value inside the equip (at least that's what I do :P).
EX:
Tool = script.Parent
Tool.Equipped:connect(function() Character = Tool.Parent end)
If it's with something else (like joining), then try finding the player.
EX:
Player.PlayerAdded:connect(function(Player) Character = Player.Character end)
There are tons of methods, but I'm too lazy to put down. Go check ROBLOX's wiki. |

| "little parts, such as ends etc" Considering ends make or break a script I would hardly consider them as little. |
