just because they have money like no thats not how it works youre gonna screw your group so hard by thinking that way.
Buying a group is a) against the rules and b) just shows you have a lot of money. So sure, you have cash. That's great, that's useful to a group. But having lots of money for recruitment or places doesn't necessarily equate to you leading effectively. If you're going to the model used by IL or LS(spam recruitment and bot frontpage games and get flashy, expensive forts), you're probably gonna fail in every field except for size and maybe activity.
Leading a group even half-way-decently would require experience in genuinely good groups, actual leadership ability, good organization, and thinking. You can't just buy a group and be a good leader at it. I know people who have been in groups for 4 years and when they try leading they fail. It doesn't just take money, it takes drive, resolve, knowledge and experience of what you're doing. Things that most of the people who I see buying groups then trying to lead them just don't have.
Quite frankly the best way to lead a group is to have good networking, people you can talk to who you've worked with before in other good groups that know what they're doing too. If you have good minds working together in your group, you'll get stuff done the right way. If you just have yourself and your friends who don't know crap about being part ofa HICOM, you'll get either nothing done or you'll get it done the wrong way.
If you come on here and say "OH YEAH I NOW OWN X GROUP AND ITS GONNA BE GREAT NOW IM A GOOD LEADER" im going to straight laugh at you. So will a LOT of other people.
At least you aren't treating groups like commodities, I'll give you that much.

Money can buy you a functional clan, and not just in the sense of directly buying a group.

Money gets you facilities, recruitment money, and tech. Which, like I said, is all great. But if you want your group to fully function as a "good" group you need people. And money doesn't buy people who are actually good at running groups.
People who are close minded enough to think you can make a group "good" with just money should not be leading, simple as that. It's a lot more complex than "YAY WE HAVE MONEY WE R GOOD NOW".
