1. How is he alive, he took his own life due to participating in the valkyrie plot
2. Why is he breaking into my house, I heard that he was so honorable the British gave him a full military funeral even though he was one of the enemy |

@Great,
Erwin Rommel, also known as the "Desert Fox", was a German field marshal mostly stationed in Africa. He was also commanded the German forces at Normandy during the Allied assault. He was notorious for charging into battle without concern for his fuel reserves and simply stealing fuel from his defeated enemies. Staying true to his nickname, he was sometimes so elusive even German high command had no idea where he was.
He was extremely humane for a German officer. His Afrika Korps unit was never charged with war crimes after the war and POW's under his care were treated humanely. He ignored orders from Adolf to kill Jews and captured enemy commandos.
Rommel ended up being linked to the failed plot to kill Adolf with a bomb in his meeting room. Adolf himself ended up visiting Rommel's house where he told him that if Rommel went peacefully, he wouldn't harm his family. Rommel ended up killing himself via cyanide pill and due to him being popular with the German public, Adolf lied and said Rommel died of injuries sustained at Normandy. |
