So, I'm pretty new to the new solid modeling system, only got back into roblox again a couple months ago, and right now I'm making a game with a friend of mine and for it I'm making a sniper rifle. As I went along, I made smaller areas (like, for example, the stock, the handle, etc.) into unions, in hopes of making the entire thing into one big union and shrinking it down afterwards. I now know that cannot be done, due to the triangle limit.
After looking it up, I discovered the minimap script, but that doesn't work on unions. Soooo... am I screwed? Do I have to restart? I know of the existence of the separation tool, but roblox is stupid and every time I try to separate something it tells me it's unsolvable, so I'm stuck with a bunch of unions.
Is there some way I can make this work? Thanks! |
