The United States Marine Corps is an organized fighting force, lead by Officers, who lead Marines in combat. Officer Candidate School ensures the successful transfer from a Enlisted to an Officer, who has the ability to lead Marines in combat situations. To partake in Officer Candidate School, one must have reached the rank of E-6 Staff Sergeant but not yet have reached the rank of E9b Sergeant Major. If An E9b Sergeant Major wishes to attend Officer Candidate School, they must first resign from their current position and be demoted to E-6 Staff Sergeant.

Discharge from Officer Candidate School
Officer Candidate School Schedule:
Officer Candidate School will be held at the discretion of the Commanding Officer of TECOM.
Drill Instructors:
Drill Instructors are the men and women who train Enlisted to become Officers. The only people permitted to lead Officer Candidate School is the Commanding Officer of TECOM. Officer Candidate School may be taken over by the Commandant, or the Vice Commandant if seen necessary. A Senior Drill Instructor, Assistant Head Drill Instructor or Head Drill Instructor may be permitted to assist in the Officer Candidate School. Junior Drill Instructors and Drill Instructors are not permitted to assist Officer Candidate School.

All the Marines who have passed (See Discharge from Officer Candidate School) are gathered in formation. All the recruits who have met criteria for graduation will be graduated as a O-1 Second Lieutenant.
Discharge from Officer Candidate School:
Any Marine who shows the following may be removed at any point during Officer Candidate School at the discretion of the Commanding Officer of TECOM:
Immaturity
Speaking out of Turn
Misconduct
Lack of Discipline
Unsatisfactory Performance
