Just put in a brick, look in the color properties and hold your cursor over a color for a couple seconds. The name of the color should pop up in text.
I'm new at this, so sorry if I don't help you out. |

I apologize to tell you this, after all you trouble but...
local num = 64 local colors = {}
for i = 1, num do local color = BrickColor.pallet(i) colors[color.Number] = color.Name --Or if you want the name to be a key replace with: colors[color.Name] = color.Number end
--colors is your new table |

But it looks like for your needs you can just go
.ChildAdded:connect(function(c) c.BrickColor = BrickColor.pallet(count) end) |

The efficient solution is pretty simple:
workspace.gridparts.ChildAdded:connect(function(child) count = count + 1 child.BrickColor = BrickColor.palette(count) end) |

As for putting them in a table, try categorizing them based on parent color.
| Reds | # | |-----------|-----| | Crimson | 327 | | Marroon | 322 | | Ect... | ... | | Ect... | ... |
