| It's fat, wide, and i'm jealous because it's bigger than Earth. Oh and also it's useless. I demand we all use our nuclear missiles on Jupiter and blow it up. This has alot of Pros because we lower our threat to wastelands and it's easier for NASA to sen people to other planets. |

All the nuclear missiles in the world would only make Jupiter larger. Jupiter is a gas giant. The missiles wouldn't even collide with it, they would just get trapped in the gravitational well and fall into the core of Jupiter, effectively increasing its mass. Even if you set it up to detonated on the outer edge of Jupiter, you'd just fling the gas up away from the planet but then it would be pulled back by Jupiter's gravity. No missile we've ever developed can produce the energy requirements needed to match Jupiter's escape velocity. |

If we tried to blow up any planet or dwarf planet the collective gravity of the planet would just pull back in any pieces we blow off of it.
