it's not that simple they don't own St. Louis FC. they're only affiliated to them, unlike Sounders 2, Galaxy 2, etc.
They would have to free up a roster slot, purchase him from St. Louis (the transfer/trade window is already closed by the way), clear up cap space by moving another player, and they would also have to acquire an international roster slot from another team because Jamiel Hardware is a Jamaican and he does not have a green card. Plus, of course, Hardware actually has to agree to play for Chicago. And to be honest, I don't think he's better than any of the current midfielders that Chicago has. He's a slightly worse Jason Johnson. |
