As a game developer, I experience all sorts of jerks that join my game and piss me off. Here's a list of those players:
#1: The player that joins, loses his or her first round, and then leaves immediately. Even worse, the player decides to dislike the game after that. -Sheesh, nobody wins their first freaking round!
#2: The player that assumes that everything that he or she doesn't know how to do in the game is a bug / is broken. They then proceed to dislike without even asking for help. -Seriously? Everything that you can't figure out how to do is broken? No, just no.
#3: The player that starts cursing after losing a round, and then leaves and dislikes. -Cursing makes you look like an idiot. All I see is ### anyways.
#4: The player that refuses to tell the creator why he or she didn't like the game and how the game could be improved. Instead, the player just leaves, completely ignoring the creator. -Ugh...
#5: The player that judges a creator for creating a buggy game even though the game is CLEARLY labeled "TESTING" or "ALPHA". -Learn to read, idiot.
#6: The player that blindly buys a gamepass or developer product without reading the description to learn what it is, and then calls the creator a scammer when he or she realizes. -When you click on the purchase button, you even get a confirmation from ROBLOX. Learn to read.
#7: The player that purely judges a game based off of its name and thumbnail. -What, do you want me to put in a really misleading name like "RIDE THE FIRE DRAGON AND DESTROY EVERYONE ELSE" and give the game a really glossy thumbnail that has nothing to do with the game? |

#8: The player that joins a game when a round is currently going on, and leaves because he or she is too impatient to wait 30 seconds for intermission to come. -You probably spent more time loading the game than the amount of time you would've had to wait for intermission to come. |

#7 is not entirely a bad player (rest are)
you should judge a game based off its thumbnail as it will show a picture of the actual game unless its a misleading thumbnail, if it is I also dislike the game and never play it again.

R2D has a custom chat, so people can easily just find a loophole in cursing
"#5: The player that judges a creator for creating a buggy game even though the game is CLEARLY labeled "TESTING" or "ALPHA"."
i judge the creator of R2D cause his game his glitch galore and its not even in alpha or testing

@Bunny:
I think I've got a pretty good reason to be butthurt about dislikes. You'll understand easily once you start having to deal with these people on a daily basis.
Also, I've taken back #7 after considering it for a few seconds. I guess you can't blame a 9 year old for preferring Spongebob Tycoon over Heroes Legacy, for example. |

"blame a 9 year old"
you're one of the worst players
who brings up an unknown age of someone?
I will now naturally assume you're just an egotistical teenager who thinks you're so good at making games

| If you've read this post, please do check yourself of these horrible characteristics. If you find yourself following the steps of as-s-hole-ism by being these characteristics, try to change the way you view game developers and fix that flawed way of thinking. By being one of these types of horrible players, you are not benefiting the game development community or roblox. |

| @Foreboding: I'm stating the average player age of ROBLOX. ROBLOX is mainly targeted to players between the ages of 8 - 12, as seen in the sponsors they receive, such as Disney. |

@Forebody:
You are most likely assuming the player audience is 11 - 17 years old because you are embedded into the forum community of ROBLOX and rarely play any games that catch the attention of a younger audience. If you go ahead and play one of those cart rides or tycoons on the front page, you'll easily see the amount of younger players on ROBLOX. |

@ivand:
The reason is probably since your games haven't reached a large audience of players yet. Asking the forums to check out your place will usually result in pleasant responses since most forumers are mature enough to follow the characteristics I listed of terrible players.
My close friend SolarDEV (he forums in ATR) recently reached the front page with his game Glider. Despite putting much effort into his game, he received a lot of negative response to terrible players that are unwilling to follow a steep learning curve and learn how to control a fully functional glider. |
