My mom had cancer last year. However, she had the cancerous area of her body removed last December, and she is fine now.
Man... that was really hard for me though. I didn't want to talk to anyone about it, and I honestly felt all alone. The most difficult thing was that her surgery happened during finals week at school. |

| I've never had a family member die and I would cry about it. I think I'm heartless |

that's great contrary
i never really asked about her cancer, but i did know about it for the past few years last year about a month before finals week, my friend was really down and late to all of his classes and wasn't saying much to anyone i got him to tell me what was wrong. He said they received news that his mom would most likely not live until summer break she ended up dying 3 weeks after our short summer break ended
she was a great woman. a lot of us cried when he wasn't at school and we received texts telling us what happened |

| Guys I hope you realize that cancer is actually potentially in all of us. It's just that it just takes one activated cell to go on a self-destruct missing. |

Qzpo I've thought about that a lot ever since my freshman year Bio class I've especially thought about it recently
My teacher would use me as an example and say "The white kids in here are most likely to get cancer, like Sam. That's what happened to my mom earlier this year. She was the whitest woman I knew. I also know other white people with cancer blah blah blah"
She would also have us look to the person to our left, then the person to our right She said out of the three of us, one of us is likely to have cancer.
fun bio teacher |

i'm glad too
my English teacher said "Happy Friday. I hope you guys enjoy your fun Friday and weekend activities" Then she saw my tux and said "Oh, Sam! You got something special with your girlfriend going on?" the class began laughing I said, "Actually.. no. My friend's mom died. Her funeral is today." People thought I was joking, but soon realized I wasn't when I got teary-eyed.
That killed the class's mood for the remainder of the period |
