| I am having trouble making rollercoasters. What is a rollercoaster a rise and drop right? Well in the game you need speed in order to rise and drop. I will probably eventually figure this out on my own but how do I change the rollercoaster's speed? Right now it only goes 4mph. |

Look it up online. You need a chain to lift it up a ramp, then use the potential energy for kinetic energy as it goes down a ramp, blah blah blah, TAKE THE TUTORIAL! If you don't have the tutorial...get RCT3
With great power, comes greatly needing to give it to me! |

Here are some tips:
Make sure that you have some way to actually power the rollercoaster up to the height that you want it to reach. For instance, most coasters need some sort of chain lift in order to reach the top of the first hill.
Your first hill should be the tallest one, and should feature some way to power the coaster up, unless you plan on adding more lifts, or you start the station up really high.
Use the height marker tool to verify that you aren't building too high. Friction is actually accounted for in this game, which means very slight energy loss. This means that your coaster will never actually reach a height equivalent to that of the peak of your initial drop. Instead, it will (usually) barely chug along when confronted with a hill or loop about 5 feet lower. Again, this is why height markers are key.
Use banked curves whenever possible. They make the ride less jerky, and thus GREATLY lower your intensity rating, as well as making for a generally better ride. I mean, think about it. Would YOU want to get your neck snapped as you go 75 mph around a tight 90 degree turn?
When you make hills that the coaster barely has enough "umph" to get over, the ride's fun factor goes up a lot. This is because the guests get more time to soak in the upcoming drop.
If you're using a coaster that gets launched out of the station (such as LIM) instead of lifted slowly up a hill, be sure to change the initial launch speed in the ride's settings. Chances are, the game started you with a value that's way too low.
Try to keep rides compact, even coasters. This will not only make designing the rest of your park easier, but will also make your rides more fun for guests. |

@MrE I was kidding, I was talking about ROBLOX tycoons. The joke was meant to be a Plot Twist joke. |
