Player = game.Players.LocalPlayer Mouse = Player:GetMouse()
Mouse.KeyDown:connect(function(key) key = key:lower() if key == "j" then game:GetService("Chat"):Chat(Player.Character.Head, "test") end end)
want it so whenever someone press j, they say "test"
doesnt work when i test it :( |

1. You didn't post the actual problem. 2. KeyDown is deprecated, use UserInputService. 3. You should be firing a RemoteEvent and do the chatting serverside. 4. You're assuming head is loaded. 5. You didn't put any output or say there is none. 6. Why didn't you specify the color in the 3rd arg?

3rd argument of Chat is to specify the color, "Red', "Blue", or "Green".
