| Anyone ever realize that when you put TOO much effort into your game, to make it so cool and advanced it sort of "dies" easily? Consider Roblox DodgeBall and Ripull Minigames. Both are advanced yet, are starting to die. |

Do bear in mind, these aren't the only factors affecting game activity.
There's also, How repetitive it gets, Other games on the front page, Bad development choices, Long-lasting bugs, etc.
It's not just complexity. |

Simplicity is key. The more complex the less likely it'll be a good game. It won't even make it to the alive state.
However don't make it too simple. Like "Cookie Clicker" for instance. Too simple and too repetitive. |
