I have a vga cord that is hooked up to a dvi adapter which is in turn pluged into the back of my computer (dvi into my pc)
I pluged it from this monitor (1920x1080), and into my other monitor (~1600x~1250). It looked fine on the second monitor, but when I pluged it into my first monitor(my current one). It begand to look a bit fuzzy sometimes. Steam looks a bit fuzz, however my desktop and icons are perfectly clear. Chrome is a bit blurry too.
I then went to the screen res to fix it, and windows said it was the resolution I want. But when I "Idenified" it, the number one is off the screen. IT is suppose to be in the middle! That means there is an internal resolution problem.
How would I fix this? http://prntscr.com/83xqle http://prntscr.com/83xt1t http://prntscr.com/83xt5q http://prntscr.com/83xt7o

That's just because VGA is quite old, it cant transfer data fast enough for big resolutions like that. Buy a DVI connector instead.

Believe what you want or either buy a DVI cord and fix your problem. You can just lower the refresh rate as a temporary solution.

Are you mentally slow? I hate to insult someone "trying" to help me but it's not the VGA problem. It was working perfectly fine before. It also doesn't even have a lower refresh rate option.

You will have to force it down then. Just buy a DVI cable man. If you don't believe me that's the problem then google
"vga 1920x1080 blurry" |

Did you read my entire problem though? 1. I said that it was before, 100% clear 2. I said that it is clear on some parts of my computer (such as the desktop)

Google "vga 1920x1080 blurry" then follow the first link and follow the instructions on how to calibrate the monitor.

Those problems are for people who have total blurry screens. I know what my problem is. I just don't know >exectly what problem it is or how to fix it. The problem is that my computer has mismatched the resolutions. |

heyy, I have this problem too! AMD CCC tells me everything is centered and dandy, but the Windows identify says it's far lower-left. My chrome wasn't fuzzy, until I played with the CCC. Like just 20 seconds ago. Am sad

And I seriously doubt this is related to the cable. My monitor worked fine until I updated to Win10. After the first two days, it got fuzzy. Less than 8 months of, this computer is.And steam is a bit fuzzy too

If you're running windows 7, 8 or 10, try going into your "Display" under Appearance and Personalization, then click "Set a custom scaling level," and change that value to 125%. It fixed everything for me

I changed it to 100 and it went into the top left, and then I switched it back to 125. It's in the center now and chrome looks clear. but steam is still a bit fuzzy. It fixed it about 50%
