| Yeah, unfortunately kids probably wont be that mature until you get into HS, and don't be shocked to see a lot of non-spanish speakers in spanish 1, they're there to learn the language, not review the language. |

| Nah, but I won't be that active with schoolwork and extracurriculars. Like every past school year, I will only get on during weekends and Fridays. Fridays I will usually just decompress and log on as soon as I get home, Saturdays and Sundays last year I would get on around 6:00 or 7:00, I expect that to get a bit later with more work. |

@Inploded
But most classes have a couple kids who speak spanish there as well to review the language. And he probably also means that they have no desire to learn the language and are just there for credits. |

I go to such a prestigious high school that if you're among the top 40% of the graduating class (like me with a comfortable cushion) you'll pretty much be admitted into a 4-yr college/university and even there's a significant amount of kids who have this mentality. It's sad because the Spanish language is going to be so helpful with attaining a career in America, especially in a state like Texas. |

| Becoming somewhat fluent in Spanish is something that I am really going to try to achieve in my HS career, and hopefully college. Not only will this help with my personal life (lots of latin friends, family living in spanish-speaking countries, etc.) but it is also a skill that is extremely useful for any job at all, and is something that gives you much more opportunity's. |
