Some people do not have access to a credit card, paypal account, giftcard or any of the payment methods currently in Roblox. So my idea is to add a payment type where people can pay with their phones. They can use the credit that they would usually utilize when calling or texting to pay for robux or BC. If BC isn't possible to be payed for with cellphone credit, at least let people buy just robux with it. In my opinion, this would help a lot of people out and even boost the amount of sales because of how much easier it'd be for some. You could pay via texting a specific number some code generated to confirm the payment or by calling.

Already possible fool. Get a few iTunes cards and voila! You can get ROBUX or BC with the iTunes money!

That's not even phone credit. I'm talking about using your actual phone number for this. You know, with the money you use to text or call, not for music and apps.

For this to happen, ROBLOX would have to be part of the company that gives the phone carrier. Or ROBLOX would have to make its own phone carrier.

Why? It'd just be easier for some people to pay for robux or BC.

Well lots of online games or even offline do it and sometimes they're even less successful than roblox. In my eyes this would actually be good for them to make even more profit since it'd be even easier to get robux and all that.

Lots of games allow you to text the company a code provided by them so you can pay the amount of money necessary to obtain something, you special thinker. For example Habbo, you can buy coins in that game using your cellphone credit. Some other examples are Wizard 101, where you can buy in-game money with your phone and Transformice, where you can buy the currency of cheese or strawberries with your cellphone. Look it up.

Cell phone credit? No carrier in their right mind would support Roblox BC purchases. Carrier-based app stores are meant for prehistoric cell phones. Nowadays, you can purchase BC with iTunes or Google Play credit.

Tons and tons of games are supported by a carrier. You are underestimating this service. Lots of people use cellphone credit instead of iTunes or Google Play credit. Sometimes it even depends on what country you're from. Some countries have more people using certain methods. For all I know, smartphones can be charged with cellphone credit to be able to call and text people with it. Tons of people do it.

Carrier-based stores are only used in developing countries where the general population can't afford a smartphone. Carrier app stores are for flip phones or old bar Nokia phones. People in developing countries don't have Internet that's as fast as ours, so I doubt they'd be playing Roblox. Don't overestimate carrier app stores.

Wrong. Lots of people I know and play games with have smartphones but since they don't buy giftcards often they just use those carrier-based stores in the games where they can even do that. It's not just used in developing countries. I'm in a developed one and it's quite popular to used carrier-based stores using a smartphone. Sometimes you just don't wanna go out to get a gitftcard or you might not have access to a credit card to charge your google play or iTunes account. We aren't all using the futuristic methods if you can even call them that. Besides, it's a choice and opinion so why do we argue about it?

Carrier-based stores are prehistoric and were meant for prehistoric devices. AT&T only has 100,000 apps. Compare that to the millions of apps the App Store and Google Play store have to offer.

It's not meant for prehistoric devices. As I mentioned before, lots of people use their smartphones to use these shops. These stores are handy ways of getting things done quickly and are used by more people than you think. MANY GAMES prefer this method of payment and do not have app store and google play payments available due to the fact that to have money on there you either need a credit card (so it's basically the same thing as paying with credit card directly) or you need a giftcard (and you need to go and buy it and some people don't feel like going out).

Why are you so mad? You replied so quickly that I don't think you even read and process what I'm saying. I'm telling you that lots of people use this. And they are quick, just send a text and you're done, you probably haven't even used this method so you have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm not even gonna allow you to reply to my thread anymore, you are too dumb to even discuss something with.
