well actually if you go by the technical definition, uh...
you know that phobia means "aversion", right? it doesn't mean "fear", that's a big myth. it originally means, and STILL MEANS, aversion. even a bit of a negative opinion on something is an aversion the end |

@abacaxi
Well that is a more reasonable explanation than I've heard others say.
Absolutely I am averse toward LGBT relations; hateful of them, I'll say. That being said, the same could not apply toward the people themselves, because it is hypocritical for a sinner (which we all are) to hate someone because of their sin. |

"there is something that lots of forumers use, it's called "filter pass""
regardless even thinking that g@y people are unnatural and/or sinners is still an aversion to g@y people, and still, technically, by definition, h0m0phobic |

keep in mind that phobia does not mean hate, it just simply means aversion
so by the technical definition (all connotations aside), you are h0m0phobic |

um, actually, look at this thread, anyone here showing that they're averse towards h0m0s3xu4117y is technically h0m0ph061c, i mean, if you wanna go by the technical definition of "phobia" |

the technical term for phobia is an irrational fear
the technical term for a distaste or disagreement of a subject is an opinion
and if you knew the difference, and actually were as tolerant as you say you are, you'd abide by it

"@Abacaxi uh but who do you see being averse towards it?"
hell even tappier admitted he was averse to it aversion is any sort of dislike, disagreement, repelling from, fear of, disgust of, ANYTHING where something or someone has a negative reaction/emotions/thoughts of something else
"the technical term for phobia is an irrational fear"
facepalm no, it's actually aversion, as it was originally, anyone defining it as irrational fear is just some monolingual english speaking dumb idiot when we use phobia in english, not only is it meant to describe fear, but even some species who are repelled from certain habitats, clothes even that are "hydrophobic" and don't get wet, people who are discrimatory, etc. because phobia ORIGINALLY MEANS, AND STILL MEANS aversion. |
