The Constitution of Latvian Republic (Satversme):
Chapter I. General rules: 1. Latvia is an independent democratic republic. 2. Latvian territory of the country in international agreements, consists of Vidzeme, Latgale, Kurzeme and Zemgale.
Chapter II. Saeima: 3. Saeima composed of twenty five representatives of the people. 4. Saeima shall be elected in general, equal, direct, secret and proportional elections. 5. The right to vote is a full-fledged Latvian citizens. 6. People may elect in parliament any full-fledged Latvian citizen. 7. Saeima shall be elected for 1 month (time of term can be changed). 8. Parliamentary elections to be made on the first Saturday of each month. 9. The Saeima shall hold its sittings in Riga, and only in extraordinary circumstances may it convene elsewhere. 10. The Saeima itself shall review the qualifications of its members. 11. Sittings of the Saeima may take place if in those taking part in at least half of all deputies. 12. The Saeima, except in cases provided for in the Constitution in particular, make decisions by those present absolute majority of votes.
Chapter III. State President: 13. The President shall be elected by the Saeima for a period of 1 month (time of term can be changed). 14. The President counts as elected if 13+ deputies ar voted FOR it. 15. About The President may be elected a full-fledged Latvian citizen. 16. The same person can not hold office as President for more than two terms. 17. The President represents the country internationally, appoints Latvian, and adopt other countries' diplomatic's leaders. 18. The President is a national armed forces supreme leader. During wartime, the President shall appoint a Supreme Commander. 19. President in accordance with the group's owner can declare war on other country/countries. 20. The President has the right to initiate legislation. 21. The President may be subject to criminal liability if the Saeima consents thereto by at least a two-thirds majority.
