Before you reply, I don't mean so simplified that all games would be broken on ROBLOX. What about an alternative to scripting? I already know LUA has been simplified in ROBLOX, but I honestly don't have time to learn LUA. What about a concept like LittleBits? [e.g: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fJRDjaoLIk]. If you don't know, LittleBits is sort of like a physical way to make simple electronic projects with lego-like connectors. What if we make the same thing with the same concept but in ROBLOX Studio? There could be plugins like this (Would appreciate if you reply with the link to that) but what if we let younger ROBLOXians come up with unique contraptions with a concept like this? Again, this is alternative, and not a new way to script. It could take a long time and effort, which is completely understandable. What about the basic scripting sentences like "if and then" statements in which we could type whatever we want into that sort of box?
I would like to see your guys opinions on this. |

Lua is quite easy to learn, I recommend you try to learn it.
Lua is also a fairly powerful language, with lots of applications it is used in.
I hate drag and drop systems, so no support |

| I mean, I have learned a little bit of LUA, but simply don't have the time for it, even for summer. Plus, I would like to see what younger ROBLOXians can do with this. |

It would also limit creativity because it is limited to a certain amount, you may be able to choose, Lua or this other system you are thinking of, where the more advanced game developers can use Lua.
This would be very hard to implement though, so still no support |

@TheFancy
I think younger robloxians should learn lua, if you learn a powerful coding like that when you are young, it will be much easier to learn other languages when you are older, and the world is in the space/computer age, so it will be a very useful skill. |

| Again, even I don't know most of the LUA Language, but I want to script a more simpler way instead of doing a new sort of language to it. Plus this is an alternative so younger ROBLOXians, or even I, can learn RBXLUA more simpler. |

| Look at scripting tutorials on YT, or on the ROBLOX Wiki. It's perfect for new starters, or people with very little scripting skill. |

@The
You have ignored my last opinion, even if it was simpler, It would make the games a whole lot worse. |

@Man
I don't recommend YT, unless the only way you learn is visual.
The roblox wiki is much easier to understand. |

Recently I started to try and learn LUA. Well I can tell you its going great and I love it! I personally think it is very simple, just keep looking for good guides and tutorials and get help. Good luck!

| Sorry, as soon as I reply you reply with a new reply. But what I forgot to mention is that you can add more sentences to these block thingies. |

| ^ Yeah, I kind of agree. I can't listen to 10 year old children squealing at the top of their voice about how to script. |

" but what if we let younger ROBLOXians come up with unique contraptions with a concept like this? "
If it was drag and drop, it couldn't be as unique.
ROBLOX would lose a LOT of money, since good game devs would quit due to lack of a decent programming language. |

| I mean, I've bought a couple of ROBLOX Lua books, I enjoy them, but I still want to learn more in the language, and it just gave me the basics. I don't want to spend money on more books. Even though I can go on the wiki, It's a bit time-consuming. |

| I don't know what to agree on anymore :c. I still like the idea of it since it gives younger ROBLOXians a more simple way to script instead of going to the wiki or YouTube and etc. I just don't like spending time learning to script since I want to become better, especially when I almost flunked 7th grade. |

Hey, if scripting was easier, everyone would do it and it technically wouldnt be a skill anymore. Its just one of those things that you gotta work towards to accomplish yaknow ;p

Carrying on from my reply about game developers:
If rbxlua was abolished, then thousands of game developers will have no programming language to make roblox games with, and they would have to start from scratch, they probably would quit though, since most game developers hate drag and drop systems |

| I started learning rbxlua in 4th grade, I am now in 8th grade and highly efficient in rbxlua. |
