Orca is a game engine framework plugin wrapper library that attempts to make game development less complicated. It consists of "raviolis", or highly modular and excessively encapsulated modules that still depend on each other to function properly.
There are a few core raviolis that drive the game engine framework wrapper: - Physics Ravioli: Replaces every single physics operation that ROBLOX already handles with lots and lots of CFrames with little to no optimization - Model Ravioli: Implements a revolutionary synergetic system for builders to seamlessly throw their models into the game and have them behave in the worst way possible, forcing scripters to communicate more with builders to understand how the model even works. - Data Ravioli: Comes with a full-fledged general artificial superintelligence that will analyze big data using machine learning and stochastic dyslexic tribulation algorithms.* - Camera Ravioli: A approx. 32 MB script that helps game creators make a camera move around, with various effects like "shaky cam" or "drunken sailor" (actually those are the only two and you can't turn them off, just switch between the two) - GUI Ravioli: A revolutionary new system that will parse GUI's encoded in JSON and then create a GUI that will look nothing like it did in the editor because it doesn't really care about aspect ratios. The GUI's also have a slight chance of flashing rapidly and inducing a seizure in epileptics. - HTTP Ravioli: We didn't really know what HTTP is but we made sure this ravioli would download http data from sites like you/red tube at random and present it to the player every 15 minutes. - Version Control ravioli: To prevent loss of data, a copy of your game will be sent to our private servers** and accessible once a small fee is paid.*** - Cross-Server communication framework network system Ravioli: game designers will be able to enhance the player experience by making player teleporting and cross-server communication needlessly more complicated. This is accomplished by randomly teleporting the player to some other person's game
Orca is fully object oriented, so much so that we even wrapped basic lua constructs into objects and created a system that breaks any code that doesn't use said wrapped constructs. We believe that any other programming paradigm is the work of the devil and therefore it is abhorrent in the eyes of OOP.
The plugin wrapper library component of orca is fully extensible, meaning you can write plugins that will wrap the framework for the Orca engine using virtual punch cards and a FORTRAN interpreter that is integrated into every game using Orca and cannot be removed.
Using Orca, we can guarantee a -120% performance boost on every game it is used in, and we hope this framework will be used in every game.
btw orca is better than valkrie lol
* The Orca developer team is not responsible for any hostile/rogue super-AI that threatens to destroy humanity ** Once sent to our servers, your game becomes our intellectual property and all profits must be given to the Orca devs. *** Small fee of $3000 + $200 per month of backing up game on our servers |

| No, that's what our analytics software said, -120%. But look at all the features! |

and you're charging users fees to revert their games using your backup service?
what makes your version control system better when i can revert my place in the place settings for free? |

Literally Gold.
I've used Orca to create a beautiful Hello World! program, and it only took me 6 hours.

Oh yeah, you can rename the engine using the plugin wrapper library component using FORTRAN and virtual punch cards.
The FORTRAN interpreter comes with every game and cannot be removed as large parts of Orca rely on it. |
