The Francophone music remembers that the WORDS are the most important part of the song, and has instruments only to complement the words.
Anglophone music of today forgot that, and now you can't hear the words over the cacophony of instrumentation they have, assuming they even have words. |

| English is my first language, and there literally are some songs on the radio that I have not yet understood a single sentence of. And every single French song I have heard (which is admittedly not many) has had at least one sentence I have understood. (Only been learning French for three years) |

| Keep learning it, even if it's pretty hard.. It will probably be useful one day. |

| It's not that hard actually. The only part I have trouble with is speaking. |

| Well.. I mean mostly the verbs are difficult. French is my first language, and i still find verbs difficult sometimes... Also, many words mean the same thing (but it's the same thing with english.) |

| I've actually had to look up the word "cela" five times in 30 minutes because I kept forgetting what it meant. I managed to get 80 pages further in but then I lost my place. |

| No, I'd heard Elle Me Dit in French class and it got stuck in my head so I learned to like it. I found L'Homme A La Moto. |

Well.. I don't really like french songs. When i find good francophone songs, i'm not able to download them... I don't want to spend money because i'm not sure if i'm going to like the whole album the song's on.
I stick to anglophone music. |
