In order to be an official house, you have to be 40 or more Members large and have each of the following ranks in your roleset:
1. Master-At-Arms 2. Knight Commander 3. House Guard
Wars:
War against the crown: This can only be declared by a Lord Paramount or if one of his vassals has permission from the Lord Paramount. This will immediately send the City Watch, Kingsguard, and the Kings ruling House along with his allies into a war against said House. Winner will be declared upon a battlefield of the Kings choosing. If the King loses, the ruling House may be entitled to punish or give mercy, depending on if the winning House decides it. If it is punishment, they may be either put on trial and voted guilty or not guilty, or the King may be Executed. The King's original house then becomes a vassal of the winning house, and a new Lord Paramount will be declared in its region. If the Warring House loses, the King may execute, trial, or mercy all rebels involved, or disband Houses that have been trialed and execute the leaders of said houses. Whichever house is put on trail, the Jury must be made up of Neutral Houses. You may only declare a war against the king every three months, starting on the day after Trials have been concluded.
War of House against House: This can be declared by any House if they are official. Whichever House wins may make the other House their vassal, unless they are already a Vassal to another House, in which case you must go to war with their Vassal Lord in order to claim them. You may only declare this war once a week.
War of House against Lord Paramount: If the House wins, then they can execute the Lord Paramount and be given that title themselves, their House will become Lord Paramount. If the Lord Paramount wins, they may execute the entire family of the House and disband them, or grant mercy. You may only declare this war once a month.
Individual battles:
House Lord vs House Lord: If this one of one battle is chosen, then two Lords may go to battle in the arena. First to five wins. Whichever Lord wins may execute the other Lord, and his heir must take his place. If no heir is chosen, the Lord of the winning house takes them as a Vassal and may install a new leader into the house. It does not matter if they already have a Vassal Lord or not. You may only declare this battle once a month.
Knight Battles: This is a battle between knights of Houses. It will be on a plain battlefield, and can be chosen as mounted or non-mounted combat. Knight battles are purely for show, and grant no benefits but status. |
