This isn't really scripting, but I don't know what other forum would be smart enough to answer this. I have a problem; I'm dealing with objects that use meshes on a very small scale (like in the hundredths of a stud). Logically I should be able to just get closer to them to make them larger on the screen, but they want to disappear before I can get close enough to them. I think it has something to do with blocks completely disappearing once the camera is a certain distance from the center of the part. Since the actual parts I'm using are 1x1x1 but I make them smaller using meshes, it disappears before I even get close to the mesh.
Either way it's a result of lousy ROBLOX rendering; is there some setting I can change to fix this? |

if your using windows 10 then thats the reason roblox is still fixing the issues and making it more compatible with it

Oh yeah, Unity (or whatever engine I was using) would let you set the cut-off point for the camera going into a part. There isn't a way to do that on ROBLOX.

if you dont find a way duplicate the part then move the position in what ever axis by that parts size in that direction

sometimes when i'm building I literally run into parts that look like 2D objects, but in reality they are sized at 0.000001 like on the edges, I assume its possible
also when I'm making unions I can go small when I use resize.

It's not that I can't get them to the size I want. Lets say I have a 1x1x1 part with a sphere mesh in it scaled at 0.01x0.01x0.01. I can see it, but I want to see it better so I try to zoom in on it only to find that it disappears before it gets any bigger than a pea on my screen.

There's probably no easy way to change it.
