| As I recall, there are a few speed runs that can be completed in only a handful of minutes, usually due to a huge crazy glitch that gets exploited. I think the TAS of the original Mario is only like 5 minutes long. |

Oh sorry, that's what I meant. There were two ideas at work there. First, that super glitched runs can be extremely short. Second was that there are probably runs that aren't glitched, like Mario Bros., that can be completed really quickly. It seems to be that there's just a certain amount of time a game must take to complete, even if it's a TAS.
I'd be interested to find out of there's a speed run of a short game that is still onger than the speed run of a much longer game. That would be a strange difference to see. |
