--Penalties and rules-- Most of the rules from NFL also exist as NFL rules. Some have different penalties. All of these are decided by the refs.
Offside: Going over line on defense. 5 Yards (keep down)
Encroachment: Going past the line AND/OR hitting someone before the ball is snapped 10 yards
Illegal Pass: A pass by the QB who is past the line of scrimmage or if it violates any other passing rules. 10 Yards
Too many players: More than the stated amount of players are on the field Dead ball, 5 yards
Excessive Sneaking Violation of sneaking rules. 5 yards, next down
Defensive Pass Interference: Tackling a receiver is considered pass interference unless within 5 yards of LOS 1st down at spot of foul
Offensive Pass Interference: Tackling a CB covering you 10 yards (repeat down)
Intentional Grounding: If a QB gets rid of the ball by passing to an area with no one from their team in it. 10 yards
--Spamming-- 1: Referee warning 2: 15 yard penalty on the team 3: Ejection If a fan is spamming they are banned immediately.
--Conduct-- Tackling is a ref is an ejection Trash talking a ref is warning, 15 yards then ejection.
Delay of Game: If the clock is running and a team takes more than 20 seconds. 5 yards (keep down)
Illegal kick Ball exits the playing field somewhere that inst the back or the kick didn't go far enough Receiving team's ball at their 40.
--Update-- If a player falls by a teammate hitting them but they did not have the tackle out (called an update) they are not down unless touched by an opposing player while down or tackled.
--Hiking--. All hikes must happen INSIDE the hashes. Illegal Hike is a dead ball and loss of down.
--Kickoffs-- Kickoffs take place at the 50. To Onside you must get it to the 40 yard line and recover it. If it lands before the 40 and bounces and you recover it is a valid OnsideKick. If it goes over the 40 and bounces back it is a valid OS.
--Lag-- If lag causes an incomplete pass the play is not redone unless it was a 3rd or 4th down play. If lag causes an interception it can be redone. If lag causes a missed EP it can be redone but they MUST kick for 1! The ref gets final say.
--Overtime-- If team A kicks a field goal, and team B scores a TD, team B wins. If both teams kick a field goal, you continue until the next team scores. If both team's score a TD, you continue until the next team scores.
--Catching-- A player DOES NOT have to jump to intercept a pass. They can also dive to catch/intercept a pass.
--Jumping-- The QB can jump ONLY when throwing. If he jumps and does not throw it is a 5 yard penalty, same down.
--Pass Rush-- You can rush, tackle out or not. You can rush immediately. An can tackle you while blocking for the QB.
--Play clock-- If the clock is running and the team with the ball holds on for more than 15 seconds, then it is considered Delay of game.
--Hand offs-- You can HO 2 times in a quarter. Doing more than that is a 5 yard penalty and same down. (Ho Does Not Count as a Sneak now)
--Sneaking-- Only 1 sneak is allowed per qt. Anything after that is a 5 yard penalty and same down. (Sneak Does Not Count as a HO so you can sneak once 2 HO's Still)
--Tackling a Receiver-- Players are not allowed to tackle receivers until the ball has been missed or caught. Tackles are allowed within 5 yards on receivers, anything outside of that will be considered PI.
--Teams-- In the NFL we play 3v3,4v4,5v5 or 6v6. No 2v2.If both coaches agree you can do an uneven game (Example: 2v3, 3v4 4v5, 5v6). Nothing higher than 1 more player than the other team on the field.
--Auto Loss-- If a team doesn't have at least 2 players they have 15 minutes to get them. If not then it is an auto loss. If a team has players but the other does not they're given the win but if both teams fail to get at least 2 players (I mean come on, really.) then they both lose.
--Contracts-- A player must sign a contract with his team. The contract goes like this: How many Seasons Optional: The player could have an Player/Team option (Example: 1 season, player option where player decides to stay or leave, or 2 seasons and a team option where after that the team decides to keep him for 1 year or to let him go)
--Scheduling-- Games are given from Friday to Sunday to be played.
--Rosters-- Coaches MUST submit their roster changes to the President/VicePresident before the start of the week. If it is found that you did not submit a change in roster to the President/VicePresident there will be repercussions.
--Pro Bowl-- The team leaders in each team will be chosen for the Pro Bowl.
--Signing Players & Draft Lock-- When draft lock is in place, all new people who join are Draftees. 10 draftees are selected to be Free Agents. When people are deemed inactive, they are put into draftee role and a new free agent is brought up to the Free Agent rank. |
