You know, Austin only has the 6th worst traffic in America because our public transportation system is so awful. My parents try taking it as much as they can to commute to the University of Texas (my dad worked there as a library supervisor, he's retired now, and my mom is a teacher assistant and doctorate student there) but unfortunately the only bus that came to my neighborhood ended service like, 6 years ago. Sooooo my parents sit in traffic and contribute to the decaying ozone layer.
It's unfortunate because the cities of College Station (and Texas A&M University) and McAllen have better bus service. |

i also use it to go to the stampede every year |

I mean I have taken it coming home from school when neither of my parents could pick me up (there's a bunch of weird people, but that's just life) and I had to transfer buses like three times and ugh.
So glad I'll be eligible for my license in October. |

| i ride the school bus home and that's about it, there's basically no public transportation here because the city is too spread out |
