Look at this Shirt made by Roblox
http://www.roblox.com/ROBLOX-University-Tee-Shirt-item?id=176086705
Now the template of the shirt:
http://www.roblox.com/ROBLOX-University-Tee-Shirt-item?id=176086704
The Template is BLOCKED. I'm not joking. Roblox somehow used a feature that cancels the script of the Template Image to be seen! Even in the comments the people say that it's blocked too.
Even a Raw Image Asset Downloader can't bypass it!
If Roblox adds this on EVERY SINGLE Clothes on Roblox, we could possibly say goodbye to clothes being copied.
So if Roblox can take this "Feature", and implement it on other Shirts and Pants, I suggest that they upload it on their next update.

If you try to view the texture for the Bloxcon armor package, it also won't show it.
Do this for all image assets (not decals, t-shirts, or clothing, but the actual asset labeled 'image') and people won't be able to steal them, but it would also make retexturing next to impossible.
I agree, though. Something needs to be done to prevent copying of clothes, at least. Some players can actually earn enough robux for DevEx, solely by selling clothing, and it isn't fair that people can just steal it. |

How to stop clothing copying Lower the price to at least 30 tickets. 100 is outrageous. At least we can make clothings by copying it into a group and not paying for it. |

>lower it to 30 tickets "As always, though, the best way to afford items in the catalog is to develop great games" ~ROBLOX blog You can stop being lazy and actually be productive instead of complaining. Or, just don't buy/sell clothing alltogether.

I agree.
30 tickets is a much fairer price.
And sorry but you can build the most mlg pro fantastic game in the world but if it's not advertised(Which requires money too!!) you're not going to make much off of it.
That's just bull justification for roblox not wanting to budge on the 100 ticket mark. |

we don't really need this.
we can prevent counterfeit clothing by looking at the created date, quality (basically the original clothing has a higher quality), the popularity.
if not then i support. |

The last time you bought a shirt, did you look to see if it was copied first? Most likely not, and almost nobody does.

"Stop whining about glorified decals."
Because of the Dev Ex, these "glorified decals" have real monetary value. So no, he shouldn't stop "whining" about them.

Honestly, I do not see the point. What ROBLOX should do is make copying clothes against the rules, since a certain case proves it is not. Plus, DevEx does not mean that much - very few people make enough off of clothes, since most, if not all, users of DevEx are game developers. It also seems that the price floor has actually increased clothes copying.

@Dan, So because exploiting is against the rules, ROBLOX should assume everyone will honour that and not bother to patch new ones?
No. That's not how it works.
I don't know why the hell you people are fighting against this. You seem to rather that the money goes to a lazy copier than to the legitimate creator. |

@TheCurrency Exploits and clothing theft are two wildly different concepts. Exploiting can be dangerous and spoils fun very easily, and ruins servers. Clothing theft is moderately irritating, and can be made obvious through competence. Exploiting is more like terrorism, and clothing theft is more like digital piracy. Both are wrong, but the latter is far less wrong. Making it against the rules (and telling moderators and the support staff that it is) will be just as effective as using said method, since, unlike exploiting, clothing theft is obvious on the site, while exploits are harder to track.
Also, if it is against the rules, only those who sell the clothes they steal should be punished - those that copy but don't sell (or can't sell) are far less in the wrong. Using digital piracy as an example, it is, by most everyone, considered morally wrong and illegal to sell pirated material, while only some find it illegal to own it or distribute it for free.

@Dan, There'd still be "who made it first" and a lot of wasted moderation time. The simplest solution is just to block copying altogether. |

@TheCurrency It may be the simplest, but my suggestion would make people thing moderators are doing things more than they usually are. It's all about publicity.
Plus, if the price floor were halved, I'm moderately confident that clothes copying would go down. Sure, when there was no true floor, it still happened, but nearly all the time it was stealing offsale or unusually expensive clothing items.

1. They have zero monetary value, unless people actually buy it.
2. Yes he should. He's complaining about something that only exists in a virtual world, and wouldn't affect him in real life. |

| Games are also pixels too, if they are copied or false, ROBLOX will delete them. Why do clothing pixels get a completely different treatment? |
