well for one the teamspeak is a cesspool of dumbasses including most of the hicom (im trying not to be rude but more truthful) when most of the comments that come out of their mouth are akin to that of amicule. (rest in piece)
so I advise not going on there if you want to save a few braincells, but anyways; Trainings, a big problem right now.
Most of them, well actually all of them, aren't even trainings their a bunch of spars revolved around really old un-productive events that don't contribute anything to a member learning besides the bottom of the barrel experience possible in gunfighting. Not to mention a couple officers still use discipline trainings, which have to be the biggest waste of time possible, and if anything would just make me want to roast the clan to hell lol.
I personally think, from a lot of experience that an officer should explain to the low-ranks the importance of positioning within a one on one gunfight, every scenario possible that you'd encounter in any difficult base, for example at smo II you'd encounter the "1 on 1, 2-3vs a group, or group vs group) and these can be dependent on your positions etc.
You should probably go over the ideal importance of constantly knowing you're surroundings, being like obi wan kenobi and knowing if you have the higher ground you have the gunfight unless you absolutely suck. And knowing the importance of communicating and being on the aggressive.
clonecommander1000 for example, a actually really good officer, died yesterday in a 1v1 spar during a training, because he was constantly on the defensive, he drained his opponenent to 50, and he had 95 health left, but still stayed in the exact same spot (wasn't afk)
like thats what I mean lol.
but nobody even does anything like that when they host trainings, they just host sword fighting tournaments and spars.
which doesn't make anyone better.
And with raids and stuff barely getting 10+ is a direct result of people/lowranks feeling they have wayyy better things to do with their time, i.e a direct result of what they've been taught via training and via their personal views on officers they don't think can't compete with other clans or they don't value their time what-so ever.
Hope I helped! (sorry if I was too blunt but yeah)

this will most likely be ignored and they will say their ways are better, but I personally don't train I use raids as experience.
Raiding smaller clans is sufficient practice for me and them to get field experience.

Shattered yeah that'd work if you only wanted 10 people, but theirs a bigger chance that if you train in mass, you can raid in mass, and continue a wayyy more proficient cycle.

or if thats what the standard is now, I, personally, wouldn't even be satisfactory with a measly 10-15 lol

The reason you're inclined to say this is because a majority of the events presently hosted are done so by incompetent trainers who are keen on being active officers.
While this is useful for activity I can see what you mean in terms of it being counter-productive. Thanks for the insight, and I'll be talking to Dystra about this topic and maybe see if I can do anything myself to teach people how to do better. |

| Also most average clans rally 10-20, so a clan that's considered "dead" getting that much isn't bad. |

its not that TGI is considered dead but I expect so much more because I know its capable of a lot.
and it certainly isn't supposed to linger with the words average and dead lol

Clinging to the past like that is part of the reason people can't move on. People want TGI to be shut down because it's not in a golden age anymore. You're never going to be satisfied if you set your standards too high.
Let's be honest, clans only get large attendance and numbers (30+) during hype such as events and wars, unless you're like RAT or VAK. That's just the reality of clans today, so we're not the only ones. |

and their are many in TGI

| I don't understand what you're trying to say, but find me a clan that has CONSISTENT activity of around 30 members per event besides VAK or RAT. |

I call those trainings 'mashup' trainings because they don't even explain anything other than the event. You just get thrown into matches and they expect you to learn.
Most of these trainings are by incompetent juniors/officers. |

To go with what Ability said, I'll talk to Dystra about instating something RAT and A-SOV do;
If you're doing nothing but hosting random events such as PTL, TDMs, and pointless "practice" stuff, it's a "practice."
If you're teaching or doing legitimate training, call it a "training" or "educational event" or something else to distinguish it's worth your time. |

there a lot of god damn annoying son of btches in tgi and sometimes they don't follow orders, departing an event just because they were warned, not attending trainings when they requested it to happen.
thats one reason why i left, i couldnt deal with them, too pissed off in fact.
they will NOT follow orders |

AND I REALLY DO TRY. |
