So game creators can make a game possible to play without internet connection.

Most games on roblox (Popular ones, at least) are multiplayer games.

60% of ROBLOX games are meant to be multiplayer. 30% of ROBLOX games are meant to be multiplayer, but playable with 1 player. 10% of ROBLOX games are meant to be singleplayer.
That means less than half of all ROBLOX games are singleplayer. Take away all the obbies and tycoons, it's practically nothing. No support, as there will not be enough games to support this. |

I support.
Nonetheless it doesnt matter how little games there are for singleplayer, the fact that it would be possible to play anything offline after downloading it would be great. |

Not to mention how many possibilities would be opened up for people to use outside programs to do whatever they want with the game.

It would actually be glorious. You just need an option to add a bunch of AI bots. Then the creator programs said AI bots to do different things.
Imagine downloading Le Bote and seeing a huge 50 v 50 fight with tons of big ships.... at 30fps because theres no internet to lag the game up...
Oh btw the my favorite category for games has been added back! Yay! |

"Take away all the obbies and tycoons, it's practically nothing. No support, as there will not be enough games to support this."
Consider for a moment the sheer number of obbies and tycoons. On the front page alone there are 10 obbies and tycoons at the time of writing. But that's just on the front page. There are hundreds more which are popular, have a stable playerbase, and are fun to play.
Add in games like Flood Escape, Sandbox, Survive the Disasters, and Project: Pokemon, and you get an additional 9 games which would be fun to play on their own.
That's 19 games just on the "Popular" section of the front page. There are hundreds, even thousands, more.

That would be cool but pointless. Most games on Roblox are meant to be multiplayer for a reason. Singleplayer would be useless, it would break scripts, ect.
I would list all of the reasons why I hate this idea but I won't.

Game developers would turn on offline play for their game. It wouldn't be forced.

| This sounds exactly like uncopylocking a game. |

"This sounds exactly like uncopylocking a game."
The main difference would be that uncopylocking lets us download the place file whereas offline play would download an executable.

Changing a file to another format to reach the same thing is ultimately pointless.

I Dont See How That Would Work I Mean
At Least 60% Of Roblox Games Are Meant For Multiplayer Only 30% Of Games Are Multiplayer But Playable On Single Player And 10% Of Games Are Single Player Only It Would Require 100% Of Games On Roblox Multiplayer But Playable As Single Player Its Probably Not That Simple Either Its Probably Alot Harder Than That. Either Way Its Difficult |

I hate @Veotinex, which capitalizes every word in a sentence.
Sometimes single player games can be harder to make, but developers do not have to worry about balancing or being non-linear. Uncopylocking a game is all it takes, really. |

First off, ROBLOX would have to release an entire new update with a lot of scripts.
Everyone hates ROBLOX updates.
90% of them require patching, or matinence.
See you online! |
