Its a cybertronpc with 8 GB DDR3 ram, 1 Tb hard drive, Intel Pentium duel core processor, Guess it dosnt sound that bad. Then here comes the gtx 610 graphics card.... Any ideas on what I should upgrade? Im not a complete idiot but im also not a scientist when it comes to computers, Probably will know what your talking about. Ive been thinking about upgrading the power supply, graphics card and proccessor. Any important things to remember or other things to upgrade? |

"Intel Pentium duel core processor," erm... IDK about you but this is a really broad statement,
I have a dual core Intel pentium G2030 and I say it rocks(I'm still going to replace it with an I7 2700k though)

That sounds exactly like my computer prior to my upgrade |

| I mean i have an alienware alpha, I made the mistake of getting 2 prebuilts instead of using my money to get a really good build. |

in that case, any current-gen i5 or i7 (4670, 4670k, 4690, 4690k, 4460, 4590, etc.) should work
and pcie ports are pretty much universal, so your constraint there is the PSU
i didn't check that, what wattage / rating is it? |

| Ok thanks but 1 last thing, I heard using a garbage processor like I have with a 970 or any good GPU can cause bad things to happen? So I was wondering if I could use the cpu from my alienware alpha (i5 4590T) in my desktop? I doubt it but Was wondering if i could switch them. |

| Honestly, OP, dual-core processors are still relevant. Some games may not support them, but most do. |

| I heard that with the processor I have it will bottleneck with the gtx 970? So I was going to buy an i5 4670k But i dont know if it would be enough for future games running at high, 60fps 1080p? |

| I run most games at 60fps maxed out or on very high settings on an 8370 AMD Eight-core 4ghz with a GTX 960 4GB, and 8GB of RAM. Besides, a dual-core can actually beat the next-gen consoles in many areas. Pair up a 750 ti with a dual-core cpu, and you're set for this gen. |

you have a g3258, so slap an aftermarket cooler on there, consult some overclocking guides, and your processor won't be nearly as trash. hell, just on a stock processor you can get a g3258 up to 4.5 ghz stable
and aside from horrible, HORRIBLE processors, not a whole lot chokes GPUs |
