You uh... you like my pun? I thought it was good...
All drama and pointless crap from relatively any source aside, I announce to you the March Update of A-SOV.
Take and pick what you want, just search for it by the labels: "WEAPONRY," "DESIGN," "UNIFORMS," "LEGAL," "APOLOGY," "STATEMENT," "WRAP-UP."

> INTRO
I've got a lot to talk about, and I'm glad to say that almost all of it is good, if not fantastic.
First off, I'd like to give a shoutout to my man LordVydrak and others who made me realize the month we're in: March. What is March, though? It's a month of green. You see all the green hats on the catalog, you've got the holidays. It's a green month; it's an A-SOV month.
What does that mean? Well, it means that I'm setting my sights on releasing this month. Yep, this month of March will be our likely month to release. I said the same thing last month, but a lot came up in my life that was emotional, stressful, and quite disastrous. That's gone now, though. Moving on to the future.

> WHAT'S NEW
Why not start with the best first? The biggest improvement to our development has been the great addition of a Trello board. It allows us to efficiently organize our projects and get stuff done. You can find that, here: https://trello.com/b/rMdiNX8c/a-sov-development
>> WEAPONRY
With that, I won't just /tell/ you, what's new. I'll show ya'. I'm proud to announce updates to our weaponry! Find them and our older weapons, here: /a/G2viG
All weapons can be found in my "Weaponry Showcase" place, here: http://www.roblox.com/A-SOV-Weaponry-Showcase-place?id=27748782
I'm going to explain what each weapon is and how it'll function. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, read past.
MARKSMAN RIFLE (credit to thea96!): "The Marksman Rifle is intended for long-range shooting. The Legal District allows for you to get into great shooting positions, which would be great. To counteract too much camping, the rifle has high damage, long reloading, and a lack of a scope. Just the plain old ironsights. It's like a musket, almost, except more accurate and modernized."
Additionally, the Rifle may be multi-purposed and use its revolver-chamber mechanism to fire 6 or 8 bullets in rapid succession, like a burst, with a pause inbetween each "firing period."
DUAL-SHOT PISTOL (credit to thea96!): "The dual-shot pistol is like a double-barrel shotgun in the sense that it fires two shots right away, except it's not that powerful. Imagine this: Shoot, two bullets fire, reload quickly, shoot again. Pop pop, pop pop, pop pop. It's quick and efficient."
LONGBOW (credit to platapus789!): "The longbow is similar to the Rifle in the sense that it is intended for longer ranges. As it lacks modern technology, it has a much smaller effective range. To constitute, it has a faster firing speed, but also has reduced damage in comparison due to that."
CROSSBOW (credit to alaneasy!): "The crossbow is quick-firing with moderate-to-low damage. It's best for players who want to skirmish - get in, and get out. It's not supposed to be a big-bad crossbow, like you may be accustomed to."
WHEEL-LOCK PISTOL (credit to BrianP99!): "The wheel-lock pistol is more of a handcannon than a pistol. It's devastating at close ranges and has a longer reload than most weapons, since it takes inspiration from early flintlock pistols. If you get into range and can land the shot, you'll be rewarded with a swift kill."
Also, we intend to implement a carbine (thanks, Clerical!) at some point in time for those who prefer fast-firing/automatic weapons over all.
All weapons are intended to balance each other out, and to constitute each player's unique play-style.
>>> UNIFORMS/DESIGN
Yep, uniforms! We got a lot of new clothing and a lot more coming on the way. I'd just like to give a huge shoutout and thank you to our dedicated designers: Razerium, for all of his fabulous uniforms. Scaredhobo, for his excellent graphic design work and dedication. And HappyOJolly and Discourager for their willingness to make casual off-duty A-SOV outfits. You'll see those, soon. :)
Oh, yeah, uniforms? You wanted to see those? Take a looksie: /a/7E45T
We've got new uniforms for SAGE, as well as a remake of the current uniform. Both by Razerium! He's great.
The LR and SAGE uniforms will be on sale sometime within the next few days, whenever Razerium makes some finishing touches. Make sure you thank that guy, again. Honestly the most likable developer I've worked with.
Also, we can now literally slam jam people, and soon do so with greater fashion, thanks to the Slam Jammers Jersey, now in my inventory.
As for the based-god Scaredhobo, he's been working hard alongside UndefinedDimension and Aominum on making great advertisements and thumbnails for our higher-ranking members.
Here's a collection of some of what they've made, recently, and with a lot more to come: /a/hRPBg
Appreciate it, son.

LEGAL DISTRICT
It has been such for quite a while, but I would like to take the chance now to state that the building of the Legal District is now finished. Besides small edits, all that is needed now is just the scripting. What needs scripted? That'd be the whole raiding system, generally, but I'll break that down.
Taken from a previous post I made, I figured I would explain our ideas for the fort to the public: "For the fort, we're having a bomb system similar to TSD's. Now, if you ever played TF2, you know Payload. Like Payload, there are checkpoints. For each checkpoint raiders capture by planting the bomb at each one, it will lock and shift the spawns to that location.
Raiders will need to capture each checkpoint (which changes where everyone spawns, like in payload,) one-after-another until they reach the final objective, or the Manor.
Raiders will plant the bomb in the Manor's basement, which is a storage area for whale oil to fuel machinery and the like. It will act as a conventional terminal at that point. Once the "terminal" is captured, your screen goes dark. You'll hear some crumbling and explosions, then your screen is revealed and it shifts to a camera overview of the Manor lying as a pile of rubble and flames.
Besides the victory system, we're aiming to have a fort like FC. Everyone loves to patrol FWII, and we want to incorporate that into the Legal District. Unlike many clans today, we plan to give incentives - inside the place or not - to encourage people to patrol. With more members patrolling means a more intertwined community, more raiders, and more activity.
By the way, the bomb is carried by a single person, so you'll need teamwork to defend the person carrying. Strapped to their back."
Legal can always be found on our personal servers, and you can always ask me or Aliman any questions you have!
>> LEGAL: HUD
Besides the raiding system, we're still looking out on making the HUD for the fort. While we haven't got any of the fancy-dancy GUI's, we have plenty of still-in-the-works icons made that you will see when using the HUD.
You can find those beauties, made by Rahvin, here: a/fI3zl (All of these are intended to be relatively small for their use in GUI work.)

STATEMENT
Lastly, something that is irrelevant to our development, yet I would still like to address.
A-SOV has been the subject of plenty of drama and criticism as of late. This is not the kind of clan that is supposed to be shown to the public, for it isn't the kind of clan we actually are.
As for my myself, I've made mistakes. I've lied about the reasoning behind exiling Katido, which I can now leave at "personal reasons" so as to respect her, and my own, privacy. I can admit I regret such an action and I can ask that you don't hold that against me.
I apologize.
If you find our members are not acting appropriate on the forums, please tell me. I will deal with them accordingly, and if the issue persists; take further action. I don't want to have to deal with this issue, but if it is a pressing one then it's something I have to do.
I apologize on behalf of my clan, or any officers, members, or supporters who have negatively represented the group. Don't judge a book by its cover, however.

WRAP-UP:
Yes, I make tl;dr's.
I was going to make a tl;dr, I really was, but I feel like you should read this.
All in all: We're doing good, better every day. March is the month.

Thanks for your time.
As always;
For the Lion! (or Loin, if you're Unclear...)
